"The staff was helpful when I arrived. Starting with the valet employees to the front desk personnel. Room was clean and the visit was overall very good. I liked the breakfast and snack time they had. I had never seen that before so it was a pleasant surprise. Especially if you're looking to save a little during the trip."

"We chose to stay at the Big Texan because of the cool vibe. Our room was a good value but needed some spiffing up. There is a lot of road noise from Route 40. Unfortunately the motel can't do anything about that, so we were grateful that we had brought ear plugs. Maybe you could ask for a room in the back to cut down on the road noise. On the plus side, the staff was friendly and it was nice to walk over to the restaurant for dinner."

Parking $65/day plus over $200 in hotel resort fees. Website asserted remodeled rooms, obviously we didn't they failed to say some remodeled rooms. Very disappointed. Far from a four-star hotel. "
