「I had a service animal that unfortunately was barking. A good part of the day when anybody went past the door and this property proceeded to charge me $50 as a consolation against their policy. And also they charged a $300 service fee, which was returned.」

「Everything was even better than I expected — the room, the surroundings, and the views were all wonderful. The sauna was absolutely stunning, with beautiful design and an amazing view. I especially loved the view from the room, as well as the thoughtful touches like the card games and books provided in the room. The nearby river trails were also a great way to relax, clear my mind, and enjoy nature. The only minor downsides were that there wasn’t always someone available to help immediately if...

「It was a short stay but an awesome one. Newfane is a quaint area. The room itself was beautiful. It was nice and quiet; didn’t hear others. Very clean. Would loved to have stayed longer. A little pricey but then it again it was a last minute booking and also peak foliage season.」

「The room was disgusting , pop on the walls of bathroom , all walls pretty dirty . Bugs in The bathroom. Microwave was broken and no TV for 2 of our 3 days there never again .」

「The front desk were very helpful」

「Very unique B&B. Please note all rooms are upstairs, a steep, narrow case. We did not take in suitcases. Our room #8 had bathroom across a hall although we were told it was only ours. So a few unexpected twists. Bed was comfortable. Only one chair in room. Breakfast was tasty with numerous items available. Remote location with beautiful fall colors surrounding.」

「very noisy. no soundproofing whatsoever. very clean but very sterile. I felt like i was a monk in a monastery. great for a bed for the night.」

「The room smelled unpleasant and the tub was fairly mildewy.」

「Our stay at the Chesterfield Inn was absolutely wonderful. The inn is sweet, charming, and full of character. We slept so good and our room was so peaceful. We were treated to a beautiful sunset, enjoyed a delicious breakfast next morning, and appreciated the warm hospitality throughout our stay. The staff was exceptionally kind, welcoming, and helpful, making us feel right at home. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing New England getaway.」

「Breakfast was very good. The staff friendly and very helpful. Room clean and comfortable. My area was a bit noisy though. Very convenient. Overall an excellent place to stay. I would return and also recommend!」

「a warm wonderful place . Cool even when it’s hot out. Convenient to downtown」
