「Absolute little gem of a place, just off the beaten track. Proper old world pub with the friendliest hosts I’ve ever met. Will definitely be back to try the food as we arrived too late to eat. Please give this little place a try you won’t regret it. 」

「The Hotel is a treat for the eyes and a great place to relax in the many rooms. A beautiful bar and a great breakfast kept us satisfied after a day of exploring the area. A super comfortable bed made our stay even better. The golf course looks beautiful and the hiking trails are interesting. Easy to park your car. The staff were helpful and very polite. We have stayed in a lot of properties and this is one of the best. Comfortable, well equipped, immaculately clean and a most generous welcome pack.. We are looking forward to our next stay.」

「A lovely, well equipped cottage, ideal for 1-2 people, nicely tucked away in a village that has so much going on. Clean, comfortable and a lovely welcome basket from the owners. The small kitchen area has everything you need, the decor is lovely and the lighting is great. The woodburner is left ready to light, though I didn’t need it. There is lots of local information left by the owners, who are very friendly and welcoming.」

「My stay at Lanehead old school was fantastic. The owners Lisa and Chris were lovely and extremely helpful. My car broke down on the way there and they offered to pick me up. They then offered to pick me up from the garage I had my car towed to. Excellent hosts. It was like staying with old friends! I can't recommend the place highly enough!」

「Lovely quirky room in a lovely pub in a quiet location food was lovely clean room I did think the check in service could be a little more professional has we were given wrong keys to our room. The only downside was the WiFi in the room it didn’t work and you don’t get a phone signal, taxis are must if you plan to explore walking isn’t an option due to location. 」
