「This was a very nice comfortable place. We had a little trouble finding it. Was easy to check in and out of. The only suggestion I would make was to put the exterior patio lights on a timer so that they turn off at night— if it’s hot and you have the window open then you have all the light from the patio. But it was very clean and comfortable.」

「場所が少し不便な所にあり、しかも急な坂道を登らないといけないのが少し不便だった。延泊し2泊したが1泊目の部屋が暖房が効いておらず寒かった。2泊目の部屋は暖かった。建物の外観、部屋の雰囲気はとても良かった。またお風呂は広く快適だった。朝食は数種類から選べ、2種類食べたがどちらも美味しかった。パンとサーモンが美味しい。 夜はホテルに併設しているインド料理を食べたが、宿泊者は割引があり、味も美味しかった。 ダラムに着いて初めての宿泊先、食事だったが、こちらのホテルのおかげで、ダラムの印象が良いものとなった。」

「シティセンターから近く、建物はクラシカルな外観で重厚感がある。ネットの写真に比べ建物内部及び各部屋は少し暗い雰囲気。部屋の内装はクラシカルで素敵だったが、ネットでは部屋にバスタブがあると書いてあったのでそれを楽しみに予約したが2泊したがどちらの部屋にもシャワーしかなかったので非常に残念だった。シャワーは上部とサイドの２箇所からお湯が出たのでまだ良かった。 部屋にあった備付けの飲み物(紅茶、コーヒー等)が豊富でクッキーもあり良かった。 朝食はメインを５種類位から選べ、同行者の分と合わせ３種類ともとても良かった。 総合して、一般的なホテルの造りに比べクラシカルで非日常を味わえる空間としてとても良かった。また機会があれば泊まりたい。 」

「Have just returned from a wonderful break at the Black Horse. The surroundings are idyllic with lavender fields, apple and plum trees as well as all the beaitiful plants Everywhere is immaculately maintained from the grounds to the restaurant and cottages. The staff were so kind and helpful . Would return in a heartbeat. 」

「Friendliest staff I’ve ever met at a hotel had to move rooms due to noisy air conditioning units outside our window but accommodated us no problem couldn’t do enough for you definitely will go back thanks for a great weekend 」

「We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. A lovely hotel, what was so good was how welcoming and helpful all the staff were during our stay. The room was spacious with a sitting area and a large TV. The bed was very comfy. We had a breakfast both days, excellent choice of food and helpful staff. There is nothing negative I can say about this hotel.」

「The rooms were spotless and beautifully decorated, and the food was good! We’ll definitely return.」

「Our room was beautiful. It had a king size bed and the en-suite bathroom was a good size. The only downside was that the toilet flush handle was broken but still worked. It could have done with better lighting in the bathroom as you couldn’t see in the mirror very well. The room was immaculately clean and had a sofa and tv with easy to connect to WiFi. Personally I struggled with comfort of the bed as I found it too soft but it was dressed with clean sheets and had extra pillows in the wardrobe....

「My first visit to this hotel. Very impressed friendly staff and excellent facilities. Only minor issue, the windows only have blinds, these do not effectively block out the light so awake quite early. On the whole excellent.」
