「Overall everything was good, our only issue was after being there for a few days we noticed the toaster was full of crumbs, obviously not been emptied for quite some time, and the oven tray had not been cleaned after it had been used. We hadn’t met the owner, so decided it was easier just to clean them both before using them.
On the hole, everything else was excellent.
There was no recycling facilities, which was quite a surprise, and also a slight disappointment. Everything else was above...
「Set in lovely countryside views, owners & staff all veey friendly & helpful, fabulous choice of breakfasts, meals available during evening also with a varied menu including gluten free. No hesitation in recommending The Royal Oak for any length of stay, wish we could have stayed for longer!!!!」
「This was a very nice comfortable place. We had a little trouble finding it. Was easy to check in and out of. The only suggestion I would make was to put the exterior patio lights on a timer so that they turn off at night— if it’s hot and you have the window open then you have all the light from the patio. But it was very clean and comfortable.」
