「Friendly host, warm and cozy cottage atmosphere out on the country - very private and quiet too. The room was so nicely appointed and we loved the sound of the babbling stream outside. The bathroom was large and bright and had a big bathtub. Everything was so clean and welcoming. Breakfast was excellent and cooked to order each day. A wonderful spot away from the madding crowds but so close to so many beautiful places. 」

「The eight bells has been completely redecorated and beautifully so, a true country Inn. Our room was clean, with great duvet and pillows, bathroom was immaculate. The staff and hospitality were outstanding, nothing was too much trouble, after three nights and four days we knew them all by name and they knew ours! Would I stay there again? In a heartbeat!!」

The rooms are small but perfectly appointed with really comfortable beds, the breakfasts were good with a variety of hot and cold foods with hot food cooked to order and healthy choices which is great. The only one thing I’d say is the pillows on beds need upgrading as quite flat but at least there were two each. 」
