「The Rock was a beautiful place. Staff was amazing and the place itself is beautiful. We stayed in the ocean front villa, which is actually three separate “rooms”. A kitchen - stove, fridge, toaster and toaster oven, kettle, etc, with place to sit to eat and a toilet. Then two separate suites for sleeping etc. We were two couples, so perfect for us. 「A few minutes from the beach, lots of restaurants around. Quiet place in a noisy area, beautiful garden and swimming pool (pool rules, especially about diving, could be better enforced). The villas are spacious, spotlessly clean with a feeling of luxury (loved the wooden floor and furniture). Would need more cupboards to store our clothes. The breakfast is simple but good with quality ingredients. Additional services like airport transfer are overpriced.」

「I loved staying with them and getting to know them. They are lovely, honest, hard working people and their property is well maintained, clean and spacious. If I could change a few things. Do not allow smoking in the balconies. The rest of us who don’t smoke suffocate with windows open and no one came to Thailand to stay with windows closed. Parking bikes outside people’s entrances is another issue. There were times I didn’t have access to my property especially as I needed to bring my bicycle in...
