You can’t go wrong with this hotel clean stylish great rooms all like the photos. Nice pool right on the seafront in a small bay. 300 that taxi into lamai but free bus down until 7pm. I didn’t try the local area as there were so many place in the main town. Reception staff were always lovely and welcoming
There were restaurants and lots of cheap massage places right outside the property within walking distance. There was also a 7 eleven and another little store for snacks within walking distance. They had a free shuttle to Lamai beach every few hours. The property was very nice. I didn't really know what to expect from a hotel named "Thai Fight Hotel" but I was very pleased with my stay there. The staff was very friendly and nice. My room was very nice and the view was phenominal. I will stay there again.
Amazing hotel!!! Everything about our 9 night stay was perfect. The staff are just amazing and cant do enough for you, the hotel is super clean and location is covenient for exploring the island. Food at the restaurant is fresh and healthy and breakfast offered averything you needed. Thai boxing session was fab and we also attended the morning stretching classes. So sad to be leaving today but will be back next year! Thank you Thai Fight Hotel… you should be so proud of this little gem!
Great service! The staff was always welcoming and very kind. They offer group and private Muay Thai classes, and the Spa is incredible, featuring a great variety of services.
The hotel was absolutely stunning. Clean comfy and spacious rooms. Pool was beautiful and quiet with plenty of sunbeds. The staff were amazing and genuinly couldnt do any more for you. Complimentary Muay Thai boxing class was a great fun touch and the shuttle to Lamai town was really helpful.
Very clean and modern hotel, fantastic value. Staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet has many options, both Western and Eastern cuisines. It is South of the main urban and beach area of Lamai. The walk is moderate, but the hotel also offers a free shuttle (scheduled, must RSVP 2 hours in advance, did not use) and it’s easy to call a cab. Good selection of local restaurants nearby (notably Sabienglae). Recommend if you are looking for a quieter option rather than being in the heart of / on the main beach of Lamai.
The location was peaceful but close enough to everything. The hotel staff was incredible and able to take care of motorbike rentals etc. There was a nice touch with the muay thai classes and stretching classes offered (taught by Golf). I would highly recommend this beautiful hotel and will be back.
Noise from the road, but overall a very nice place! Very friendly and service minded staff, very good and varied breakfast. Also possible attend to different courses! Very nice pool area
Wonderful hotel. Clean, well maintained, two great pools and the nicest staff! Loved the punching bags and boxing gloves in the rooms, the bathtub was nice but our water only got luke warm, but was still pretty to look out at the beach.
Drinks and food at restaurant are very expensive, but Happy Hour was decent. There are many other options if you walk down the busy Main Street to eat and drink. Great place!
Beautiful property withba great staff. The pool area is very relaxing in the bartenders do a great job. The Muay Thai theme is very unique! I will be back.
The hotel itself is nicely designed, rooms are a good size and well laid out, and most day-to-day staff were friendly.
The listing states that construction may cause some disturbance, which is deeply misleading and a lie. In reality it is extremely loud construction for around 8 hours a day, sometimes starting as early as 7am. We were placed in a ground-floor room directly overlooking the construction site, with workers less than 30 feet away.
The photos showing a green field and sea view are not representative — the actual view was entirely a construction site, and privacy was so poor we had to keep the curtains closed the entire stay.
Management were dismissive and literally lied on several occasions, and offered no meaningful solution or goodwill, only suggesting a room move on our final night, in the same block, with the same noise and after repeated chasing.
Decent design, but the reality does not match what’s being sold — book elsewhere.
The restaurant staff was amazing. The front desk staff was not so, at one point, they offered me a free drop off and pick up ride to the mall and then left me stranded. It was not a mall, it was an outdoor strip that had no electricity. The heat was horrendous and nothing was open. They attempted to charge me 300 bahts for pick up. Return to the hotel and they refused to accommodate me or even acknowledge the situation. Also, because the hotel is on the side of the road it is very noisy. I attempted to get a partial refund and they declined with no response.
This is a pretty new hotel. Everything was fantastic. Their staffs are very attentive. Their room layout was was cool. Not a lot of privacy if you’re sharing a room with your parents. But, layout was pretty different cool. I appreciate they provided their guests with a free Muay Thai class during the time of their stay. That’s pretty cool. THEIR BREAKFAST WAS WORTH MY MONEY. They took care and effort to make breakfast fresh and different dishes everyday. The only think you have to be careful for ordering stuff and added to the room. You can’t pay until you checked out that adds up. Also, we love buy one get one free happy hour. Over all great place to stay they have everything and closed to Lamai beach and night market.
After being in different hotels everywhere in Thailand for almost 35 days, I can EASILY say that this hotel is the best we have been to. We had initially booked some other hotel in Koh Samui and it was so bad that we chose to change hotels already on day 2 to Thai Fight Hotel and I can't be more than happy with that decision. Everything from the cleanliness of the rooms, the service and the staff were fantastic. Even the Securiy staff were absolutely wonderful and always made sure we crossed the busy street safely. On the last day we checked out at 4 in the morning as we had an early flight, the staff were so sweet and had packed breakfast for us to take to the airport! Great breakfast and pool area and last but not least the Muay Thai theme throughout the hotel was 10/10! Thanks again for the best 6 days and we will definitely be back!!

Disliked: Staff & service
Pros first, because there are some: The hotel itself is well designed, with good-sized rooms that are modern and thoughtfully laid out. Day-to-day staff (front desk, housekeeping) were generally friendly and tried their best within their limits.
Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end — and the negatives overwhelmingly outweigh them.
We were completely misled by the listing. The hotel will tell you that “construction may cause some disturbance”. This is deeply misleading. The reality is very loud, heavy construction for around 8 hours a day, not “some disturbance”.
If you’re unlucky — as we were — you’ll be placed in a ground-floor room directly overlooking the construction site, with workers less than 30 feet away. The “green field / sea view” shown in the photos is simply not real in this situation. The view is a full construction pit, scaffolding, machinery, and workers at eye level. The online photos are not an honest representation of what you may be given.
The noise is constant, not occasional — drilling, trucks, machinery — and to make matters worse, work started as early as 7am, despite the hotel claiming later start times. Being woken up by construction on holiday is unacceptable.
Privacy was non-existent. We had to keep the curtains drawn the entire stay because workers could see straight into the room. Imagine booking a “beach view” hotel and sitting in darkness just to feel comfortable.
The most disappointing part was the management. They were dismissive, de
Best place to relax but also to kick-box, swim, walk, feed elephants, feed tigers, feed pigs, enjoy the view, the food … we had a blast. Amazing staff and kick-boxing teachers. Size of the hotel is perfect.
The hotel was perfect, comfortable and clean. The staff was always helpful. The only thing that bothered us the first few days was the noise from the road, we were in building 2 on the 3rd floor - maybe it would help to make a closed corridor in front of the entrance. We really enjoyed the rich breakfast (every day there was a small variation in the food offered)
We loved this hotel. Especially, staying at one of the private villas. Highly recommend the villas, they come with your own private pool (with complete privacy) and they offer a lot more than a hotel room. The spa was also amazing and their breakfast on the beach is just beautiful and so relaxing. We didn't mind the whole "fight" theme (room has all the boxing equipment etc) but the service was exceptional and the atmosphere was magical. Highly recommend it!
