Walked to the Barefoot beach café and back which was right on the beach. Lots of homeless but felt pretty safe. I was glad my husband was with me though. I felt less safe in downtown Waikiki on our way to Dukes in the Outrigger Hotel. Two guys were swearing the f word at each other and fighting right behind us. Police were nearby but did nothing. We had a lovely dinner at Dukes. Our daughter's rehearsal dinner was at Dukes and we haven't been back to Honolulu in a long time but it is a beautiful island.
Waikiki Beach was so beautiful and relaxing. WB was full of activity. Very nice vibe.
just like any other strip
