"The property managers are not good. They are not cleaning property and not changing bed sheets and not providing any clean service during our stay. They are just looking for money without providing service.
Further, they want to give a bad condition property if you don’t ask."

"Only one hotel front desk staff is very fluent I'm English but they are all very friendly and helpful.
Though I requested for high floors, I was given ground floor. Later, they change it to second floor.
They did not clean the room on daily basis.
No breakfast or free mineral water.
Though there is a sign called no smoking but people smoke in the corridor. The smoking air gets into my room."

"Very nice hotel, room was clean and spacious, bed was comfortable and staff were very attentive to all needs and solved any problems we had.
We also had an airport transfer booked by them which was very convenient and better priced than any transfer we had used previously

"The best hotel in Hanoi,plain and simple.But there is one thing that needs to be mentioned.On the hotel's room page it says Flexible check-in and check-out time upon availability.But don't think this is Peninsula time at the Peninsula Hotels which you can check-in as early as 8AM and check-out as late as 16PM.Since our flight to Ho Chi Minh City was very late into the night a REAL flexible check-out was very important.Because we had used Peninsula Time before, we naively thought that we could be flexible in Capella, which is known for its luxury.Turns out their check-in and check-out policies are no different from regular hotels：upon available and pay to guarantee.The hotel did offer to let us stay in the living room as long as we wanted.And the kind staffs constantly offered us free sweets and mocktails.However since we had already checked out we just didn't feel comfortable eating and drinking for free.So we just sat there for three hours with some water and final decided we just head to the airport to see if we can get on an early flight.To be clear.Normal check-in and check-out times is fine and we are totally OK with it.Just if your check-in and check-out times are no different from regular hotels, there’s no point in mention “Flexible” on the website as if it’s a selling point, right?"
"Lovely stay, lovely staff, great location. I was upgraded upon arrival, room was spacious and bathroom very modern. I slept so well!
Gym on rooftop was small, but had everything you need.
Breakfast was amazing! Large selection of dishes including usual breakfast items as well as more brunchy options like grilled chicken, noodle soups, stir fried veg, salads, and fruit.
Staff were all so kind and lovely.
Great location, walkable distance to all cool things around Old Quarter.

"We had a wonderful stay at The Lapis Hotel. The room and facilities were immaculately clean, and the staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating. We had a very early 4:00 AM checkout, and they still prepared breakfast for us to take away, which was a really thoughtful touch. Everything about the experience felt professional and warm. "The property was tucked away in a perfect location in Hanoi Old Quarter. After a 20 hr flight from Canada we arrived to a spacious, quiet suite with a very comfortable bed and ‘the best’ pillows!
We found most, if not all, sights we wanted to see were in walking distance or a trip on the Hop On/Off bus took us there. As the street traffic (for walking in the evening) can be a bit overwhelming (but safe) we dined exclusively at the restaurant that adjoined the hotel. The buffet breakfast was also served here. All food offerings were very good and table service was top-notch. We highly recommend staying at DeSyloia when you visit Hanoi"
