"Very clean comfortable hotel. Fairly small room but big enough for 2 unless you have a lot of luggage. I love that I can walk to the airport from here. Food options are a bit limited. "

"The staff are friendly if you can find one of them. When I attempted to checkout there were no staff members around to obtain a VAT receipt. After waiting for around 20 minutes, I had to leave. I have been phoning ever since to arrange a VAT receipt, and after countless calls, no one answers the phone, and no one responds to answering machine messages. Overall incredibly poor service."

" Nice property and grounds, service and food good at breakfast. The big disappointment was having to pay £20/pp to use the swimming pool, which is the first time I can remember having to pay to use a pool at hotel. this should be made clear when booking"

"Duvet was soiled and stained. Teacup in the hotel room had chips in it. Staff entered the room early although we had a late checkout. Beds not made properly. Knocking on the door and no one there hotel blamed children for this. Very bland and in need of some tlc"

"We had a suite which was miles from reception up and down stairs plus the signage was poor and confusing. Reception had a care less attitude when I overheard another guest explaining their issue. Equally they didn’t care that someone had been smoking in our room and cigarette ash was on the carpet and the window frame. The bed throw was disgusting and not to be explicit I’ll leave it at that. "

"The room was dirty,previous occupant had used the bath with purple shampoo left all over the wall,old tissues on the floor and under the desk was full of fuff and dust never cleaned, the shower hel was an empty bottle with no lid or pump just fastened to the wall and the tea tray look dirty with no tea spoons. I complained at reception and the receptionist said while I had been out it had been sorted, the dust under the table had gone and the shower gel filled but nothing else.. "

"We always stay here when in Stockport and always happy but this time didn’t quite come up to the usual standard that we’re used to . The room felt tired , bathroom door stiff to close and water going off when in the shower , breakfast wasn’t as good as usual, the bacon looked like it was from the day before and not replenished as much usual, a little disappointed this time sorry but we were , L Glynn."
