" This hotel had many wonderful reviews, which is why my boyfriend and I decided to stay here. Unfortunately, our experience was not what we expected. When we first entered the room, we immediately noticed several issues. The air conditioner was leaking water onto the floor, the restroom had no fan, and there were no small towels for bathing. The room itself was also very small. Another inconvenience was that there was no iron in the room—the iron and ironing board are located on the 10th floor, and you must request a special key from the front desk because your room key does not allow access. The shower also did not appear very clean. Housekeeping was another problem. We requested that our room be cleaned, but it was not cleaned for several days after the request. We also asked for additional towels and were told they would be placed in our room, but we never received them. During our trip I unfortunately missed my flight, so my boyfriend extended our stay. However, the extension was never updated in the hotel’s system. Our room key suddenly stopped working, and when I went to the front desk they said they had no record of us staying there. Even after showing receipts and booking confirmations, they couldn’t locate it. After about 45 minutes they finally fixed the issue and gave me a new key. Later that night, while I was alone in the room, I heard repeated knocking around 11 PM. When I asked who it was, there was no response. The knocking continued until after midnight."

"I really enjoyed my stay..i had lower expectations and waa pleasantly surprised. Room was clean and comfortable. AC waa nice and cold, breakfast was free and standard( some variety). Amenities ( pool, sauna, pool table, board games, ironning roo) were convenient. The best thing was the Service and the concierge. The guy at the front desk was welcoming , nice and informative...he made the stay feel safe and comfortable as he told me al the scoop, the hotspots, the do,'s and donts and spoke very good English."

"For a hostel, it was probably the cleanest I've ever booked. Check-in in Brazil seems to be a little difficult but the place was perfect for one night and close to the airport."

"The property is run down. But worse than that, the room we were given was dirty, mold on the floor boards and mildew in the shower. We intended to ask for housekeeping to come and clean it. But after attempting to use the toilet we learnt that there was an issue with flushing. There was no one on site to fix the issue so we were moved to another room. Then - wait for it - when we turned on the sink in the new room, the water leaked out of the pipes all onto the floor. The next morning we booked another hotel and left. We were offered no refund or any other kind of compensation. They said since we booked through Expedia we could not recieve any refund for the nights we did not stay. Save your self the trouble and don’t even consider this place. "

"I stayed 5 minutes and found a different place to stay. There is a carpeted staircase leading to the room that is completely stained. Carpet in the room is stained. While it appeared it had been cleaned, it was still disgusting. "
