Top Vienna Hotel Reviews

Rioca Vienna Posto 2
10/10 Excellent
"This was my 4th stay at Rioca Posto 2 and it continues to be my number one choice whenever I’m in Vienna. The staff are always friendly and welcoming, and the location is excellent with easy access to transport links around the city.
The rooms are a great size and very well equipped with a small kitchenette, fridge, dishwasher, and microwave, which makes longer stays especially convenient. The bed was very comfortable, the shower was excellent, and even the soap smelled amazing.
I also really enjoy the unique Brazilian theme throughout the hotel — it gives the place a fun and vibrant atmosphere that stands out from typical hotels. Overall, another great stay and I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Vienna."

Leonardo Hotel Vienna Hauptbahnhof
6/10 Okay
"Breakfasts was very poor value for money...as a vegan there was no hot food ( mushrooms, tomatoes, potatoes ) and no dairy substitutes like cheese or yogurt available. There should be a warning when booking that €18 is too much for fruit juice, granola and toast. I spoke to the manager but he wasn't bothered.
We had a torn curtain in our room but otherwise it was clean and quiet and felt safe."

NH Vienna Airport Conference Center
4/10 Poor
"For an international hotel at a major city, not having the ability to charge a phone in 2026, after the c-port was made the only source of charging in Europe is crazy.
Coffe machine not working.
Only convenient thing, it is next to airport terminal
Only reason I will stay again"

Citadines Danube Vienna
8/10 Good
"The Citadines Danube has spacious and well-decorated rooms, and it's only two stops from the VIC (conference centre), and on a direct metro line into the centre. Citadines is basically an apart-hotel, so there's also a kitchenette. Three things: the studio and executive studio are basically the same except that executive studio is on a higher floor, has a coffee machine, and costs more. Second, the hotel only cleans room once a week. You want it cleaned more than that, you pay about 25 euros, which I think is ludicrous as the trash def needs to be taken out more than once a week if you're using the kitchenette. Third, reception could not be less interested in guests coming in. They weren't unfriendly, just very disinterested. Maybe that's because there are a lot of flight crews in the hotel and so they are used to people coming in for a night or for very short days. So, if you're coming in for a conference and hotels closer to the VIC are full, and you're happy to have a very anonymous experience, this hotel is fine. If you want a friendlier hotel with more amenities, I'd choose elsewhere."

Novotel Wien Hauptbahnhof
10/10 Excellent
"Lovely modern hotel, opposite the main train station. Big spacious rooms. Would stay here again"

Hampton By Hilton Vienna City West

Austria Trend Hotel Savoyen Vienna
10/10 Excellent
"Excellent buffet breakfast. A very well positioned hotel with spacious rooms. The gym could benefit from an upgrade and some free weights. "

MOOONS
10/10 Excellent
"Good breakfast and good reception

Hotel Grand Ferdinand Vienna
8/10 Good
"Top marks to the staff on the 8th floor - very well looked after at breakfast, Perhaps to an Austrian five different colours of carrot for breakfast and a printed menu offering a variety of dishes, so long as you wanted eggs, is the norm...?
The lack of clothes storage in the rooms wasn't helpful, and an explanation of the lighting system would have been useful; it appeared to be either "all on" or "all off"."
