「Chinook Cottage was cute and functional with enough space for the 2 of us. The bed was very comfortable. The furniture was getting a bit tired in the living area and the kitchen could use a bit of a deep clean. Due to the warmer temperatures the sunroom was not useable so we were lacking any sort of “outdoor” space. We didn’t actually meet the hosts so can’t comment on them although Melanie was very timely with her responses. The location is a bit out of the main area of Campbell River but...

「Judy’s place had everything we needed to be comfortable as a family for over a week. We spent plenty of time walking and at the beach. I loved how clean the house was. 」

「Great location! Plenty of room and a very comfortable, clean cottage. The beds were also very comfortable and the loft bedroom and ensuite were perfect for our teenager! I would definitely stay again and recommend the cottage to anyone looking for accommodation for a larger group in that area. 」

Only issues we had were the beds were all extremely hard and uncomfortable to sleep on, and the pillows in the master were also too firm to sleep with comfortably so none of us slept well. The layout was great and we did really enjoy our stay overall and the property was well kept and very clean. Thank you!」

「At first we were a little surprised, but it turned out to be what we needed. Quiet, clean, and the sheets smelled like old fashioned hang dried which was amazing. Wifi was a little weak but we didn’t need it to work, it was nice to unplug for a few days. The recommended Italian restaurant cuckoo in coomes was spectacular was like we were in Italy. Highly recommended」

「Quaint little cottage with nice patio. Had everything we needed. Comfy bed. Property has access to a beach and a pier. Close to grocery stores, restaurants and cafes. Not that walkable as there is no sidewalk for a number of blocks and located on a main road. Great for a stay in Sooke to access beaches and many places to hike」

「This is a perfect stay for someone who is looking to just get away from it all. I went alone for some downtime but I can easily see this being a lovely romantic getaway, too! Hear the birdsong and enjoy a book in the private bath under the leafy trees, or enjoy a takeout charcuterie and color with Tara's great coloring supplies in the cabin. I ADORED the gas-stove that always kept the place cozy, and the mattress is divine, waking up into a picture window of beautiful green. Tara herself is an...
