We were in town for a 4th of July Birthday and a wedding the next day. We were so glad for the air conditioning as the wedding day was 97*. The house is very cute and comfortable.
This is a great location near most everything you could want to do. Our friends live about a mile away and I felt very safe walking to see them. We spent a lot of time at Olympic National Park and Cannon Park, etc. but there are so many beautiful sounding parks closer. We would stay here again. Cute home with more than adequate space for the 4 of us.

Quaint 95 y/o home on 3 levels. Very clean. Can sleep 8 ppl. Basement has a pool table, pullout sofa, spacious bathroom & a laundry room. The beams are low! Ouch for people over 6ft tall. I enjoyed the fenced in porch a lot.
Unfortunately we arrived during a heatwave in Vancouver & the house only has an A/C on the 2nd floor. The breakers kept popping due to high usage and the power on the refrigerator went out repeatedly (breaker connected between A/C & fridge). Also the hot tub that’s advertised is not in working condition. Only filled with 1 foot of dirty water. Overall lovely home in a safe neighborhood. Backyard needs some upkeep.
We stayed at the house for a triathlon weekend. The house was beautiful, clean well maintained, and exactly as advertised. My granddaughter loved the dartboard and pool table downstairs.Communication with the owner was outstanding!! Definitely look forward to staying here again for future triathlon weekends..
My family flew in from out of state and stayed at the propery. It worked well for them and the hosts were quick to reposnd to our questions. Very positive experience.

A few problems
The house was fine. I was given an incorrect code for entry by the VRBO host and was unable to enter the property. It was very frustrating trying to communicate via the app but finally the property manager texted me and sent someone to help us. He showed us how to work the keypad, which was totally unclear and numbers were very difficult to see, and gave us the correct code. This was after about an hour standing outside in cold, rainy weather repeatedly trying to use the incorrect code. VRBO customer service was polite but couldn’t help. VRBO host told us to get keys out of the lockbox but failed to tell us the lockbox was behind a fenced gate. We did get the keys out from the young man the property manager sent but none of them worked in the lock, so that should be checked and corrected. It would be helpful to have larger trash cans in the bathrooms. The living room chairs’ upholstery needs cleaning. There should be some Kleenex type tissues in the bathrooms. A nonslip mat for the downstairs shower would make it safer. The claw foot tub with shower was too dangerous for myself or my friend to step in and out of, we are over 60. The kitchen was okay, a cutting mat or board would have been useful to have.
