"Such an amazing place to stay and just as it looks online. We got an amazing view of Mount Fuji both days we stayed! It was also great to start the loop from here with the pirate ship as it was much less crowded than the opposite way. The in-room onsen was amazing and dreamy! Lovely clean place and 7/11 close by. Only cons were confusing check in process via a tablet and the dryer taking forever, and not working well. But would definitely stay again. "

"This hotel was okay just that no more no less. The scenery it is in does all the heavy lifting, absolutely stunning area right on the lake. The room we had was spacious and comfortable. It was clean. It was however dated. The carpet was looking tired. The door sliders stuck. The plumbing in the bathroom made strange noises whilst showering. The "

"The room was VERY spacious and clean. We appreciated the lobby area and while we didn't get the breakfast option, there was a vending machine in the lobby that required us to download an app to use. Unfortunately with us being from USA, to text us to confirm that we wanted to load the app didn't work correctly and we didn't receive the text. What we should have done was purchase food, snacks, drinks from Odawarai station. We did a day trip to Owakudani and on the way back via train, we got off on the next stop because there was a Lawson's across the street from the train station. We loaded up on food, snacks, and drinks and jumped on the next (every 15 minutes) train to Kawakidani. Rakuten Stay Terrace also had a gas grill on the balcony and we should have grilled a few items. Next time! "

"Awesome hotel! The whole hotel is so beautiful, and all of the staff was so friendly and helpful. We loved that there were restaurants and the onsen and spa on site so we were able to relax without even leaving the property if we wanted. Everything was clean and well maintained and all of the restaurants were delicious! I would definitely recommend staying here if you get the chance."

"The TEN-YU was an exceptional experience. The staff recieve you as if you just arrived home. The whole ambience is of relaxation and de stressing. Enjoyed a fabulous aromatherapy massage at the onsite AnSpa, which was in the most serene location. The Tepanyaki dinner was something else!! Beautifully prepared starters and delicious cuts of the best Kobe beef. We were able to unwind immediately from a long trip and made it a stay i will never forget!!!"

"Great staff members and hotel is very clean. Wish there are more amenities such as gym, kids room and more private onsens. Love the stay and view, located in a great accessible location to the cable car and bus station. Lots of parking lot spots too. "
