"While the room, balcony view, and staff were gorgeous and accommodating, the overall experience fell slightly short of my expectations for a resort of this size. We visited specifically for the Christmas lighting, which was advertised as exceptional. Although the lights were certainly pretty, I was expecting a more extensive display. And since the Japanese never waste they actually pick off the flower buds and boil them with vinegar to eat! You can buy a bag to pick the flower buds and the sweet girl at the counter too the time to translate the recipe for me in English from her phone!
