"The house was great and in perfect condition. Great location as it is 3 min from the Inari shrine and close to the train station which is always helpful. Nothing to complain about except 1 thing: there was no pool table as shown on the photos and we were not told about it. The guy who gave us the keys told us it is being fixed, which is fine but we would have prefered to know beforehand as we were very excited about it. "

"The staff at the front desk was very helpful. We love being able to cook some eggs and toast for breakfast a few days because we had pots and pans that we could use. The location is close to a station which makes things easy. We loved the quiet neighborhood and the fact that we could easily walk to some neighborhood grocery stores when we needed things. There are also convenience stores and pharmacies nearby. Great little spot."

Top Ujitawara Hotel Reviews

Hotel Forza Kyoto Shijo Kawaramachi

10/10 Excellent

"We absolutely loved our stay at Forza. We had a spacious room that included a “wet room” complete with a rain shower and bath tub. I enjoyed a delightful bath one evening with the complimentary bath products offered in the lobby. The hotel is centrally located to all of the markets making it easy to drop off our purchases at the room throughout the day. The staff were so kind and always available to answer our questions. We will definitely be back! Thank you!"

Hotel Gracery Kyoto Sanjo

8/10 Good

"This hotel was mainly for the location, and the location is awesome for shopping. The room and hotel itself were okay. The rooms are a little outdated, and the beds had a few minor stains on the blankets, nothing that was terrible (all of our group had some kind of stain on the blankets in every room) but definitely made an impact on our visit to the hotel. The premium lounge is awesome, but located directly next to a smoking area, and was often just filled with smoke, which made it so we never went. Again the location is 100% worth it, and if you just want to use it as we did as a place to sleep while shopping in Kyoto, then its awesome."

APA Hotel Kyoto Eki Horikawadori

10/10 Excellent

"My only complaint was that there were only three washer/dryers in the entire hotel and I had to wake up at 2:00am to wash and dry my clothes when I was already exhausted. Every time I’d check there was a line of people waiting to use them. And it took a few cycles for my clothes to dry although I didn’t wash much."
