Perfect for families! You will love the unique space inside this large Tybee Island home! There are so many options for friends' and families' sleeping arrangements. This is a great space for two families that vacation together! The large home is two stories, the main level has no steps to enter, two bedrooms, a full bathroom, a kitchen, a living room, a laundry room, and a sun room with a daybed and trundle bed. Upstairs, you will find a huge master bedroom with its own living room space including a sleeper sofa, down the hallways is an additional bedroom, and a fun attic conversion room with two beds that's great for kids, and a full bathroom with a large soaking bathtub, double sinks, and a double shower..

Family Spring Break

Enjoyed having our family together for our visit to Tybee Island. Had plenty of room for all of us. Good stay until air conditioning upstairs stopped working on Friday and management came out to help with getting it fixed.

Five stars because it’s hard not to have a five star experience in Tybee. The location pin on the listing is off more than I am used to with short term rentals. Not as close to the beach. Four or five blocks from the pier on Jones. Not too far, but definitely not where the map dot was.The hot tub had so much chlorine that it was unusable. I opened the cover, my eyes started burning without even getting in.I didn’t book it for the hot tub though. I brought a disabled relative, and ground floor rooms are hard to come by on the island. That was awesome and made it easy for everyone to enjoy our time there.Overall, I would definitely book again if I had someone with mobility issues with me

The house was decent but the overall experience was disappointing. The kitchen was quite dirty when we arrived and I spent a good amount of time wiping things down with wipes. There were no dish towels or garbage bags. There were tadpoles in the hot tub for a couple of days. One of the beds upstairs is very uncomfortable so not usable. Also, we booked a golf cart with the management company. It broke down early in the morning when one member of our party went to the beach to go fishing. He was stranded there so we went to pick him up. We did not get a new golf cart until later in the day. When we asked for a partial refund for the loss of time they refused. The location of the house is good. It is close enough to things on the south end to be able to get there easily but far enough away that you don't get the chaos of the main drag.

Convenient location...Well equips kitchen.

Great location and plenty of space for our large family get away. Communication with property manager was good- quick responses. I should have read a little closer on some of the details. The home lists 4 bathrooms... technically it has 2.5 and an outside shower. Outside shower is nice but shouldn't be counted as a bathroom. This was noted in the details so this was on me. The master bedroom with the king bed is spacious but technically in a common area upstairs not a separate bedroom.. You have to walk thru it to get to the upstairs bathroom and the other 2 upstairs bedrooms. Not necessarily an issue for some but depending on your group it could be a problem. kitchen was well equipped and plenty of space for cooking. Plenty of towels and beach towels. Large washer and dryer. Most of us found our beds to be uncomfortable (the two downstairs)- other than the king bed, teens were on the upstairs beds and they didn't have any complaints. Overall I think everyone enjoyed the stay at this location. If you are thinking of getting a golf cart, go ahead and arrange it with the property manager prior to arrival. They arent needed but are convenient for going around the island and will help avoid sand in your vehicle when going to the beach.

Our Girl Scout troop of 6 middle schoolers and four adults stayed here and enjoyed it tremendously. Enough room for everyone to have own bed. Would like maybe some more comfortable seating in living area. Overall met all our needs and not to bad walk to beach!

Fun in the sun

Tybee Island was so beautiful and Barefoot bungalow was the perfect place for our big family. There was plenty of beds and rooms and the grill we used often so that was a plus. Kids enjoyed Derek’s dolphin adventure and the crab shack had amazing food. Everyone needs to go there for the atmosphere. Learning the history at the Fort was awesome and so much to see and do at Tybee and a short distance back to Savannah. Everything is in walking distance as far as shopping, ice cream and best of all the beach. We made some wonderful memories so thank you for your hospitality and plan to be back in the future.

Barefoot Bungalow

We absolutely LOVED the house. The only problem was housekeeping. We had a bathroom upstairs that was not cleaned well. The toilet had residue inside and their were a few ants inside the shower. The trash had not been picked up outside either. Other than those things, the place was perfect.
