"I know that when a hotel is attached to a casino, it can be a bit of a gamble (lol) as to what the condition of the hotel will be. But, this hotel was AWESOME. The staff were just so very helpful and welcoming and cheerful. My room was clean, and the breakfast was way more than I expected both in variety and quality. Don't count on the restaurant attached though. It is a counter, walk up to order, kind of fast food'ish style tables and chairs, no one is particularly happy to have you there, and all in all a bit, meh, all I can describe it as is .... a bit sketchy??? IF they have in stock what you select from the overhead menu, it was solidly good food, though. But stick with the nachos or burgers, the steak was formerly known as Uncle Bob's shoe leather."

"Staff and location was perfect. Due to the rich history of this property be prepared for all the authentic “quirks” (noisy, small room, thin walls, creaky floors under your feet and above your head, & Amtrak across street seemed to run every 20 mins ). While the property makes every accommodation ( noise machine, ear plugs) it takes a bit of getting used to. I cannot give it a low rating as this is how it’s intended just something I didn’t prefer now that I did it. But it’s beautifully quaint with a real fireplace they keep going all night, very clean and friendly team. If you enjoy historic places to stay, you got it in the Belton Chalet!"

"I loved the cleanliness, comfortable bed, peaceful setting & the very kind woman who checked me in. It was easy peasy to get to Glacier National park. We visited the Goat Lick up the road in the evening. Thank you for making such a pleasant stay!"

"We loved this place! My son and I stayed here while visiting the east side of Glacier. I let him have the larger loft room, as it had a tv up there, and I prefer to read. It was a bit of a challenge climbing the ladder up to my bed, but that made the stay even more unique!! It was perfect for our 3 night stay. We played the National Parks trivia game that was there our first night there, great game! I can't imagine a family with children staying here as it is very tiny, but was perfect for the 2 of us. I guess it depends on how much you like each other! We did have a slight snag with checking in. We arrived at 2:30, but found out the door code would not open the door until exactly 3:00, so we stood around in the cold for 30 minutes. We would have gone somewhere in the meantime, but there isn't a lot to see or do in East Glacier. All in all, I highly recommend this place. It is a bit of a drive to St Mary entrance, or Many Glacier, but isn't that why we are here.............for the beautiful scenery!!!"

"Decided to go to Glacier very late and looked very hard for a great place to stay and be immersed in the Beauty and greatness of Glacier National Park.Wasn’t sure exactly what the cabin would be like until I actually opened the door.Very quaint with a natural feel of a wilderness.Bedrooms overlooking the lake, natural birch staircase are a few of the very special touches that made me request the opportunity to rent this beautiful personal property."
