The cabin itself is so cozy with beautiful, high quality furniture that makes it feel both comfortable and elevated. The beds were super comfy which made it easy to fully relax.One of our favorite touches was the fully stocked shed with lake toys, such a fun bonus and perfect for enjoying the water. The host was incredibly responsive and even left a thoughtful welcome gift, which made the stay feel extra special.It’s just a quick 5 minute drive to downtown Lakeside, but still feels completely private and peaceful. The perfect mix of convenience and seclusion. We can’t recommend Hughes Hideaway enough and will absolutely be back!""

"The house is beautiful! The host called me about an hour into our stay to make sure everything was good, and it was! The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and the kitchen was super nice. The driveway is a little intimidating, but wasn’t a huge deal once you reached the top of it. Overall, great experience! "

"Beautiful property inside and out. This was our third visit in October. Very clean, owner is prompt to respond, and communication before, during, and after our visit was great. The kitchen and baths had everything we needed. Relaxing on the deck, in the hot tub, by the fire place, and exploring the bay in kayaks can’t be beat. We will be back again!"

"This is a stunning house with a beautiful view right on the lake. It has a kitchen open to the living area with views through to the lake so the cook is incorporated into the social gathering. The kitchen is wonderfully appointed for cooking for a good-sized family gathering. It also has multiple outside seating areas, including a wonderful deck wrapping along the back of the house looking over the lake. We highly recommend."

"This lake house was amazing! It was private, quiet & relaxing. We took our family of 11 to the lake for 9 days. The views were even better than the photos. The beds were very comfortable and everyone enjoyed all of the lake toys that are available to the renters. Shannon was great to work with and was very helpful. We hope to come back next summer.
