Ramada by Wyndham Hancock Waterfront

"We really enjoyed our night's stay at this hotel located right on the river in Hancock, MI. Our room looked out on the river and you could stroll outside and see the amazing lift bridge. Not the newest hotel, but well maintained. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast had many things to choose from. Highly recommend."

3BR on SXS Snowmobile Trail w/Full Bar, Walk to Dining &Bars, Near MTU &Houghton
8/10 Good
"The property is an old (Centennial Building) storefront that has had a kitchen and bedrooms added within it. The floor is, understandably, uneven in spots and creeks when walked upon. The bedrooms were tastefully decorated, with platform and mattress beds, that are fairly comfortable. The kitchen was decently stocked with utensils and cookware, but there was evidence of a lack of attention by the cleaning crew. The microwave was dirty and there was mess left behind from previous tenants. The furniture in the living space is recycled furniture that has served it's time. I will applaud the fact that all of the smartTVs are already logged into many different apps for your convenience.Overall, there were pluses and minuses to this property, and there are many things that could be better. It sits under 6 other apartments, that you hear very little from. I will not stay here again because it is a large space, but I wouldn't discourage groups to stay there. Also, Vernon is a very responsive property owner."
Keweenaw Waters Resort
8/10 Good
"The room was very clean; we had a downstairs unit that slept 4. I hope you like steps. (20) The mattresses on both the main bed and the pull-out sofa were horrible to sleep on. The pull-out sofa's mattress was barely 2 inches thick and was not going to hold two kids, let alone 2 adults. The main bed needs more support from the bed frame and a better quality mattress. The room had beautiful log furniture, but it was too big for the space. We were unable to open the bedroom door all the way due to the bed and nightstand being so large. The dining table was also too large for the space. The room was dog-friendly and came with 2 dog bowls and a dog blanket. There was a doggy bag dispenser right outside the main door, but there is very little grass for a dog to do their business near the building, since it is built into the side of a hill. The view from the room was great. Location was a short 5 minutes to downtown Houghton."
Miners Lodge - Cozy and one block from the snowmobile/atv trails.
10/10 Excellent
"We stayed for 5 days. The house was well stocked, plenty of room for the 5 of us. Owners were very easly accessible. The house was clean and cooled down for us in this July heat. Close to the trail and close to Houghton. I highly recommend this house for your stay. Neighborhood was quite and parking was great for 2 trucks and trailers plus our 2 sxs. Will stay again when we can. Thank you to the host."
