Kimpton Grand Roatan Resort And Spa by IHG

10/10 Excellent

"I can't say enough great things about this stay! I had a bungalow and traveled by myself and it was an amazing experience. I would suggest getting the breakfast included if possible because it was worth it every day and it was opened until 11:00am daily. The pool area is beautiful and easy access to the beach. My only complaint would be the walking and steps but that's my knees and yours are probably fine. Rides were available to the bungalows and the bed was sooo comfortable! I had astounding views from my room. Highly recommended! The ocean was surprisingly refreshing, being from Florida I didn't expect that, it wasn't sticky or waves knocking you down, it was almost like a bay."

Mayan Princess Beach & Dive Resort - All Inclusive

"This resort was fantastic for our young kids. It was clean, everything was close and the staff was great. The food was much better than anticipated. The two restaurants that you had to make reservations for were fantastic. Also the breakfast and lunch buffets were also great. We were especially excited about the home made tortillas and and fresh made to order omelets. The stuff on the actual buffet was ok, but they had 3-4 areas making fresh made to order entrees. They made good mocktails for our kids and the adult drinks were fine. We don’t drink a whole lot anymore, but they made some that were enjoyable. Snorkeling was easy. They had a team that would take you out, but if you take your own stuff you can literally swim out and snorkel the reef on your own. We did both. Our snorkel guide was knowledgeable, and we saw all the normal reef fish, as well as a turtle, some barracuda and a nurse shark. Would go back to this resort again. Highly recommend!"

"Outstanding service, everyone was exceptionally attentive making sure we were satisfied. Quiet and very short walk to the beach. Breakfast was yummy and fresh everyday either a little twist. Ambiance was very well decorated, clean and comfortable. Would stay here again Cooler was provided to take it to the beach, umbrellas during rainy days and beach towels for a $10 deposit which was returned on the last day."

"We had an excellent time at the resort. The staff was all very friendly and helpful. Always had a smile on their face. The amenities were good and the beds were super comfortable. However, the resort is due for a renovation as the wear and tear is very obvious. The beach access is excellent and so convenient. Food was just okay, after a few nights there it starts to feel repetitive and limited options. But overall we had a great time. The wild animals and cats on the property add a super cute touch."
