Incredible views, relaxing experience

The view was STUNNING. The room was beautifully decorated and felt luxurious. Everything was clean and pristine when we arrived and the staff were so helpful throughout the stay (they even gave us a cooler to keep ice in our room to keep the drinks cold!). The included breakfast is simple but delicious and we enjoyed it every morning out in the courtyard with the morning breeze. The private plunge pool was absolutely essential and made the stay even more relaxing. We went in the off season, so the beach had a lot of seaweed, but we had done our research so we expected this and we still enjoyed the beach area, the deck and beach chairs. We had a lovely experience overall and would definitely recommend this hotel for couples or eco-friendly travelers.

I enjoyed my stay here. I was able to park in designated spots directly across the street from the hotel. The room was right on the beach with our own patio at the door with an outdoor lounging BED! I stayed in the coral room and would definitely stay there again. We ate at the restaurants situated on both sides of the hotel and there is a pizza place across the street, all within a minute of the hotel. The other reviews about the breakfast being light were accurate but it was included and fine for me-everything was prepared fresh and delicious. I was out adventuring through Tulum during the day but upon returning to the hotel each night we turned on the ac and got the room to a cool (not cold) temp that was comfortable for sleeping. We always felt safe. Unfortunately, the beach and water was covered in seaweed, so we did not get in the water (although some people did) but I laid in the sun on the beach and our patio. Staff was attentive and helpful. The first night, I found the bed a little firm for my taste and requested extra pillows that were waiting for me when I got back. I am grateful for the wonderful experience, —off the beaten path in a space with such unique architecture and design that felt exotic, private and truly special.

This hotel has a very cool aesthetic and is very private. Room was very clean and the staff was super helpful. WIFI is fairly abundant in the area. The included breakfast is small but prepared individually. No TV, so if you need to watch shows, bring a tablet. We didn't encounter many other guests so it felt exclusive. Plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance. Pay attention to the Sargassum/algae season if you want to use the beaches

Overall I had a good stay in the property. I stayed at the coral room which was on the bottom floor and the doors opened right to the 10 steps from the beach which was great. The view from the room is the ocean! The only thing is the curtains were slightly transparent and being on the ground floor I had to be careful. Because of this, the lights would also come through the room very easily so you will wake up when the sun is out. The hot water for shower was a hit a miss. But the bathroom was clean. The room has an AC which was helpful as it was hot and humid when I was there. The breakfast was a good addition. It was made to order and fresh. The portions were a little small but I asked for more bread when I was not enough. All the staff were excellent. They were very helpful and available for questions whenever I had them. I liked to location of the hotel. They have multiple restaurants in walking distance. Overall it was a good stay. Sleeping to the sound of the waves, waking up the views was completely worth it!

Schönes kleines Boutiquehotel direkt am Strand

Die Posada del Sol liegt direkt an einem wunderschönen, kleinen öffentlichen Strand und 8st etwas für Romantiker. Wir hatten ein superior Zimmer mit Meerblick gebucht. Das Meer konnte man zwar wegen der Palmen nur erahnen, aber es war schön im Pueblo Stil eingerichtet. den heftigen Regengüssen waren die alten und morschen Fenster leider nicht mehr gewachsen. Das Personal sehr hilfsbereit, freundlich und auch für nette Gespräche offen. Es gab ein kleines nettes Frühstück. Rund um das Hotel gab es einige wenige Geschäfte und Lokale. Danach versperren große Hotels hinter Stacheldraht den Zugang zum Wasser.

This property was absolutely beautiful! Check in was seamless and the staff was so friendly! There's a super cute boutique in the hotel. We also had complimentary breakfast that was light, but great! The hotel is on the ocean side of Tulum, about a 15 min bike ride to the city center. There are lots of cute shops, beach clubs, and restaurants walking and biking distance from the hotel. They also have private beach access with chairs to lay out. The room has AC and it is gorgeous! It's about a 15-20 minute bike ride from the Mayan ruins and Cenote Encantando. Renting bikes was easy the hotel set us up with Bikes for 300 pesos for the whole day. There's also scooter and ATV rentals near the hotel. There is no parking for any rental cars, but honestly there's no need for a rental car unless you're traveling all over Mexico. Overall wonderful experience and would definitely go back!

I read the reviews on this property after I booked it. I didn't have any of the problems most people posted about. I was able to use the air conditioner all day at no extra cost. I booked this hotel because I wanted something more rustic. There was no TV, microwave, or refrigerator. But I expected that since I looked at the pictures. I had the “garden view” there wasn’t a garden but there was lots of vegetation. Still beautiful though. The free breakfast wasn’t Continental just eggs, beans and bread.

There was no electricity and water present at this hotel and it was extremely hot. We were the only ones there and it was dark and no staff except the security gaurd who didnt understand us was on site. We asked to be accommodated to another hotel that has power.
