Looks like an outside leak inside the walls coming through. I did notice a mold/musty smell from it and had a couple headaches while staying there. Either from the mold or the storm that came through."

"The property is nice and Quiet. You can hear the forest talk in the morning. And morning walks to the local village was one of my highlights of my stay. The owner help me a lot and went way out of the way to help me. I hopped on a plane from America to Japan with a backpack and a few days worth of clothes. Look out for your door pin 1 day before checkin. Such a beautiful location. Wake up to Mt Fuji and the lake every morning - it may be misty at times but view is stunning when the weather clears. Bike rental and 7-11 just a few minutes walk away."
