The Space:
The home artfully combines the earthy charm of an Alpine log cabin with the luxuries of modern comfort. The living room welcomes you with bright and roomy interiors, high wooden ceiling and stylish wooden furniture. Large framed windows allow ample natural light, while a comfy seating area flanks the smart TV, perfect for leisurely time indoors.
The room opens onto a sprawling balcony with sweeping views of the surrounding forest. Enjoy your morning brew on the downstairs deck.
Back in, the kitchen is well-stocked and fully-functioning. Granite countertops. a farmhouse sink, and modern cabinetry go with the cabin-in-the-woods feel of the house. Stainless steel appliances include an oven, refrigerator, toaster, coffee maker, dishwasher and microwave. A 6-seater dining table is ideal for intimate family meals and overlooks the verdant flora outside.
The home sleeps 8 in 3 bedrooms.
Bedroom #1 is located on the ground floor, featuring a queen-size bed.
Also on the ground floor, bedroom #2 comes with 2 beds — a single and a double.
Bedroom #3 is on the 2nd floor and has a king-size bed, TV, balcony and en-suite bathroom with tub.

A small mountain town with a big city heart, Truckee is a haven for adrenaline junkies. Go fishing in the scenic Donner Lake, which is a 15-minute drive from Barefoot Lodge. Historic Downtown Truckee is 8 miles away. Teeming with entertainment and cultural activities, you can indulge in shopping, casual and fine-dining and historic walking tours. Tahoe Donner Golf Course and Coyote Moon Golf Course both about 5 minutes away.
Tahoe Donner Ski Hill is a great place for small children to learn and is only 4 minutes away. In under 25-minutes, you can be in the ever-popular Northstar California Resort & Squaw Valley USA Ski Resort — The go-to resorts for ski enthusiasts and mountain bikers. Other attractions at the resorts include rejuvenating spas, luxurious pools and kid camps.
Tahoe Donner HOA Amenities – Guest Information
Guests have access to 6 Tahoe Donner Short-Term Tenant (STR) passes, which provide entry to select Tahoe Donner HOA amenities, including the Trout Creek Recreation Center (pools, hot tubs, gym, sauna), private beach access (summer only), and other HOA facilities.
Access Fees:
HOA amenities require a daily access fee, paid directly to Tahoe Donner. Fees vary by amenity, age, and season and are not included in your reservation. Full details can be found on the Tahoe Donner website.

STR Tenant Cards are NOT required for public Tahoe Donner amenities, even during blackout dates.
