「It was a shame that I didn’t arrive until the early hours of the morning. I didn’t get to sample the facilities that were available as I had to leave in the morning.
The staff were lovely and the standard of the hotel is excellent.
The price I paid for the room and breakfast was also very reasonable」
「This was our second trip to the lion at Belpur, and though we couldn’t have the bigger room this time, the room we had was still adequate for what we wanted. Always good friendly staff, who are more than willing to help.
The pub is located in a good area, close to shops and high street, and the mills and gardens. Fantastic time which is why we returned. 」

Friendly and helpful staff and our room was clean and cosy.
Breakfast was okay, but would've like to have seen a selection of mini cakes/biscuits and fresh fruits to the selection, just to give more of a variety and also some fresh juice in addition to the cordial, tea and coffee on offer.
However an enjoyable and pleasant stay and would love to return. 」
「What a delightful little property. Rooms are lovely and recently refurbished, and beautifully clean. Well stocked tea, coffee & water with complimentary biscuits. The owner was in regular contact before our stay, sent details on how to access the property and was so helpful with tips on local places to eat etc. There was even a little tuck shop with an honesty box for chocolate and cans of drinks. Wonderful experience, wouldn’t hesitate to return or recommend 」
「Very comfy beds. I don’t usually like a soft bed, but these were nice. Bedding was soft and pillows not too bulky. Had a good sleep. And Amiee, on reception was delightful x 」
