「Parking was easy. Nice sitting areas. Easy walk to a restaurant. Shared refrigerator we could put some stuff in. Good breakfast. Friendly staff」

「Here’s a sharper complaint: > This property is a family-run B&B, not a 4-star hotel. With only 6 rooms, the experience was far below what was advertised and what the Expedia/Google listings led us to expect. Our room had an extremely loud creaking floor, which made it feel cheap and poorly maintained. It may be acceptable for some travelers, but for the price, it was not worth it and definitely not the upscale stay we were looking for. 」

I also found the location for us was excellent and able to walk down the town where we had found a variety of stores, restaurants and bars. The staff were very friendly and helpful with us. 「This place cancelled our booking with Vrbo to be paid in cash. We paid in good faith only to find the room not cleaned, big spiders, food in fridge, uncleaned shower and questionable beds. It was so bad we left with no refund to a different place. Never never never, the pictures are a definite glow up. 」

「My family's stay at Nafre House over the winter holiday was wonderful. The bed and breakfast is a perfect location for anyone visiting the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve and the surrounding area, the rooms were spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean, and the staff were unfailingly gracious and helpful, in both English and our attempts at Spanish. They even brought us a New Year's Eve gift. We would recommend Nafre House to anyone visiting this beautiful area. 」
