「The pub is run by a lovely family, don’t think I’ve ever felt so welcomed. Room was clean and comfortable with every thing we needed, plenty of towels, great over bath shower, tea and coffee etc. We had a great meal standout dish was home made cow &ale pie and the wonderful home made proper puddings. Good choice at breakfast of cooked to order dishes. Great place to stay and we will stay again if we revisit area. 」

「The hotel, staff, restaurant and location are excellent
However the rooms facing the lane are extremely noisy... we were woken up at 7.30am by loud truck deliveries and garbage trucks... and late at night, the hotel staff would gather and talk loudly just below the hotel room windows.
Also, the hotel has no parking, so you either have to be lucky and get a spot on the street in front of the hotel, or pay to park in the lot up the hill.

The hotel is just a five minute walk across fields from Trevone beach and coast path so ideally located for what we wanted.
Padstow is walkable. We took the longer coastal route, 6 to 8 miles depending which path you take. Coming back, we took the shorter 2 mile-route across the fields.

Lovely couple met us with a warm welcome, some fresh cold milk and some drinks for the fridge, the hut was spotless and remarkably spacious and whilst I can't imagine anyone cooking in these huts there is a small hob and everything you'd need to cook if you're too mean to eat out.
