"The room was a remodeled old style single level motel that had a large flat screen tv that had a signal on the first day, but not on the second day.
I went to ask about it, but nobody was in the office for hours, so I left a note that was ignored by the staff.
The bathroom was the nicest thing about the room, but the shower drain was partially clogged.
The beds were comfortable enough, but there wasn't any place to put anything, because there weren't any tables or shelves by or between the beds.
In fact there wasn't a table or chair or anywhere to sit but on the beds. I would give 2 stars if there was even a single bar of soap, or shampoo.
There was a small refrigerator and a microwave so it wasn't totally bad.
I wouldn't recommend this motel to save a few $ over the nicer places to stay in Alturas.

"This was our first time visiting Modoc County and we are so happy we booked Gooseloop Getaway for our 4-night stay. This lovely home is THE BEST place to stay when visiting Alturas and for day trips throughout gorgeous Modoc County. So quiet and peaceful, set amongst the trees yet just a few minutes drive to town. Entire house was extremely clean and updated. So many amenities - TV’s, great WiFi service, barbeque and patio set outside. Air conditioning was nice to have on a few warm days. If you forgot something, don’t worry, it’s probably available in the house. Well stocked kitchen if you want to cook and the sparkling bathrooms had plenty of towels and toiletries. Comfortable beds! The host is very nice and responds quickly to your messages. We really enjoyed everything at Gooseloop Getaway and would definitely stay here again. "
