「The desk clerk was very rude when I got there to check in. I got there at 2:30 and asked to checked in and she very rudely told me check in isn’t until 3:00. Came back at 3:20 and still no clean rooms. Back at 8:30 and we for our room. The floor had not been vacuumed and there was dog hair everywhere and dog food on the floor. I asked the front desk staff to please vacuum my floor as we were there for 2 nights. They said sure and it never got done. Breakfast the second morning: they had no forks...

「The price was by far the best feature. The room did not contain a wastebasket. There was a TV on the wall but no sign of a controller to operate it. The air conditioner was very noisy. There were clean towels and a bar of soap, that was nice.」

「The people were kind, but the hotel is very minimal. No pool or hot tub. They have one they’re just full of chairs and storage. Definitely a missed opportunity. One of those hotels you can tell doesn’t care much about the property because they’ll make the money given the location anyway. Could be a super cute place though given the right owners」

「Awesome find! Some of the old pictures showed beds with those old type of comforters and I thought it would be an mediocre experience for $85. When we opened the door we were pleasantly surprised, the room was clean, the beds were super comfortable, the bedding and comforter were super soft and comfy like in a Holiday Inn, and they had a skinny and a fluffy pillow, what was perfect for us. The bathroom was clean. So besides the somewhat outdated furniture, TV and MW, and actual is eys to open...

「Lamplighter Cabins is such a cute place to stay! The check-in process was easy and convenient, with the staff leaving the key in our cabin before we arrived. We enjoyed taking a walk through the neighborhood and loved the charming old-town atmosphere. It's too bad we were only there for a short time because we would have loved to explore more. We had a wonderful stay, and if we're ever back in Helena, we would definitely stay at Lamplighter Cabins again.」
