Excellent gastropub menu with huge portions for dinner and breakfast, comfortable superior room and super service, inside and outside in secluded beer garden. On a main road so front facing rooms a little noisy but not really a big issue in the overall scheme of things. Recommended.」
「Hotel was well run and the chef kindly cooked some food of mine due to numerous dietary restricttions, and did it beautifully. Dog was welcome and much kindness shown to both of us. Would highly recommend particularly to solo travellers or those with dog.」

「The Imperial was ;lovely, well run hotel with excellent staff and food with one exception.namely the bread used for toast and sandwiches is very thick (approx 8mms) and not in keeping with a hotel of this quality. It should be replaced」

「This is a quaint little place, convenient for a quick no frills overnight stay.
The car park had travelling contractors vans in it in the early evening and all gone before breakfast that starts at 8am.

「We really liked this hotel and the A/C in summer. The 2 ev chargers weren't mentioned beforehand so it was a nice suprise to be able to slow charge at the hotel. The app for the chargers is Smappee. Staff were great. The food was great. We'd stay again.」
