"Had a wonderful stay at the Green Rich Hotel. It was a bonus to have shuttle service from the airport though it's literally a 10 minute walk. However, if you have a 90 y/o dad with you, it's helpful since a taxi would definitely not take you. When I called earlier about pick up times, they say to call them when you need the ride. However, if you don't have a cell phone or a phone that can dial in Japan, it's hard to find a public phone these days. I ended up going to the information desk and they called the hotel on my behalf! The other issue by not having a cell phone is that you can't make calls from the hotel phone. You can receive calls from the outside but no calls going to the outside are possible. That seems to be the case with a lot of hotels these days. They said that they incorporated this policy this year. Outside of the hotel, we didn't find much in terms of restaurants. We arrived on a Sunday and the only thing available to eat was the 7-11 which has decent food compared to 7-11's in the rest of the world but it's still a 7-11... It's nice to have a public bath in the hotel and the breakfast buffet is tasty and very filling. The rooms are clean and pretty spacious. For the price, this will be our go to place whenever we visit Itami. "

"This Ryokan is so beautiful, in a very peaceful place, with an amazing staff. I felt like I was being taken care of like I was part of the family. I felt at home, with the cozy rooms and the onsen was definitely the highlight for me. I would highly recommend the breakfast option because they were so delicious and different every morning!"

"Booked the large king room, very nice layout, comfortable and well appointed. Good amenities. Very clean Beds and bath were excellent. This hotel is perfect for short stays near ITM. We used in 2 separate occassions. The only criticism is that you may hear noisy guests. But overall I recommend it. "

"The rooms were clean. The staff were helpful. The yukatas for the onsen are on the first floor, there is room service and drink service until 12:00am. The options can be quite limited and pricey but I suggest is order delivery service and get something you’d want. The nearest restaurant is about 10-15 min walk up hill. Karaoke room is quite expensive for 1 hour. The view that we received of the foliage was amazing. The onsen itself was 7/10, it’s not like the onsen you get in Hokkaido but it’s still nice. Overall would stay here again, if other ryokans are full."

"NOTE: this is a love hotel- it works well for a cheap night near the airport, but you get what you pay for. The hotel is very old and run down. Also the rooms are filthy. Stains on the sheets, hairs in the bed, splatters and grime on every surface. Someone had obviously smoked in the bathroom of the room we were staying, so a non-smoking room doesn't guarantee the absence of cigarette smoke. Wouldn't stay here again. "
