Warmly greeted and the location is fabulous. Great for walks around the river right outside day or night. Right near the mall and other shops. I consider this the heart of Tianjin. I highly recommend staying at this hotel and going to the Starbucks Reserve within walking distance for great drink options. Also the food is great at the hotel as well.

this is a must go hotel in Tianjin . Excellent location and super friendly staff. Tha manger Mr. Han did a really great job from the first moment that we walked . I have 3kids (8yrs, 7 yrs and 2.5yrs) , traveling is not easy . St. Regis made everything so seamless and comfortable. The morning buffet is crowded since this is Chinese lunar new year. J Chen from the Promenade restaurant always arranged everything properly for us. From seating to take the food, the experience was excellent . My family really want to say thank you for the whole team as we feel l we stay there just like we stay at home.

Not so bad

The overall experience is not so bad. Firstly, it is very strange that there is no doorman to open the cardoor for you as a five-star hotel. Secondly, the room is big, views are fabulous except the facilities in the room are outdated. The TV is not a smart Tv in a five-start hotel! Very small Tv with no Wifi, no projector, and the image is blurred! There is no bluetooth HI-FI in the room. Thirdly, no one told us at the check in that there is no tooth brush，toothpick, bottle opener ( they have beer in the mini bar but they don't provide bottle opener in the minibar) in the room and we have to call the front desk several times to get what we want. The services are great because we asked them to come several times but they always have good attitudes. We also booked the swimming pool and it was very pleasant experince because it is very clean and quiet.

I was upgraded to a room with full view of the river. The room is big and gorgeous. Breakfast spread has a wide variety. I will be back to this hotel again when I’m back to Tianjin next time.”
