「The only reason I was willing to pay the nightly rate was for the hot tub. It wasn’t working 😒 waffles at breakfast were delicious. I wouldn’t walk around in the room barefoot or sleep on the sheets/pillows. I carry my own for that reason. Advertised “mountain view” as part of the room when selecting mine was not a mountain view at all and the windows were so dirty you couldn’t see out of them.」

「The room was Super Clean and quiet, parking was free and there were plenty of spaces. The woman who greeted us at the check-in desk was friendly and welcoming. Our room had a small fridge to keep our soda and water cold and the shower had nearly instantly hot water. We love staying at small, independant places for exactly this reason! The only thing that could have made the stay better is a hair dryer, but since I typically travel with one this wasn't a hardship. Thank you, Elk Inn!」

「My adult son and I were in the area for the NASCAR race at North Wilkesboro Speedway, about 30 miles away from the Surry Inn. The hotel was very accommodating to our late-night arrival. Our room was clean, quiet and perfect for our weekend stay. This is the 2nd year we have stayed at the Surry Inn and will definitely stay there again when we are in the area.」

「Good for the price! Front desk clerk is rude and doesn’t want to be bothered with your business!」

「Next to a noisy truck stop」

「Perfect location for dinner and wineries. Only complaint is the floors in the apartment and around the building were dirty」

「Clean room, good parking, great breakfast, and wonderful staff second to none.」

「Nice variety each day for breakfast. Cinnamon rolls and veggie omelets were the best.」

「Pool has not been opened the last few times we stayed, Did not interact with staff this time except upon check in and that was from outside thru plexiglass.」

「The room was really clean. The bed was a little hard, but the fire pit was nice as well. Brandon the overnight front desk was a real pleasure to talk with! We would definitely stay here again.」

「This place is great! Everything you would want great location, great staff, very clean rooms as well as hotel was very clean inside and outside very safe area. It's a wonderful hotel we spent 3 days the beds were very comfortable. When they get the restaurant going it will be much better!」

「We chose for location but were greeted by bugs and unexpected filth, omg」

「⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Peaceful Getaway with Beautiful Views! My wife and I had a wonderful stay at A Mighty Oak Bed and Breakfast. The property is peaceful, surrounded by nature, and we loved seeing the beautiful view of Pilot Mountain right from the farm. The friendly animals added such a nice touch it felt warm, relaxing, and full of charm. Our suite was spotless, cozy, and very comfortable. Todd and Lisa were amazing hosts — so kind, welcoming, and thoughtful. The breakfast was fresh and delicious,...
