Only suggestion for improvement would be to stock the kitchen a bit more with equipment. One pot and one pan don’t go far, and the dishes were a bit short so we ended up running the dishwasher a lot."

This was a lovely characterful part of Amsterdam that we enjoyed much more than the larger tourist areas. The flat was nicely presented, basic but comfortable. "The hotel is very convenienly located from the Central Train Station, to sightseeing destinations, and the shopping district. Rooms are tiny, literally tiny... lacking some usual amenities but very clean! There is no 'reception' area as such, but there's a lovely bar and restaurant within the hotel and many cafes etc. very close by. Overall it is a good choice if you don't plan to spend too much time at the hotel but use it as a base to explore Amsterdam. The staff is generally friendly as well. Would probably consider staying here again if I'd find a good price (as including this hotel, room prices in Amsterdam are unnecessarily expensive.)"
