「This hotel is a real gem. Michelle the manager is efficient, friendly and very helpful. Everything has been thought of, and the breakfasts are to die for. If you are looking for a 5 star experience but don't want a corporate faceless hotel this is the place for you.」

「The garden bar operated single handed by Tomelo was great. He could not be more helpful, informative and generally pleasant as well as being quick!! However The dining room staff require to take a leaf out of his book. At breakfast we found it necessary to remind them time and again to restock items on the buffet table and frequently we had to remind them to take our order or bring the coffee we had asked for. The could also be extremely raucous when guests were still dining.」

「The Peech is an extremely nice boutique hotel with a very cool design and vibe! The staff was impeccable and our room was well appointed. My only criticisms would be very minor. The rug and couch had minor stains that made an otherwise flawless first impression less than perfect. The other thing that I was surprised by, was looking at the pictures of the suite we booked, it looked to be a corner unit with glass all around and a balcony. It was ground floor, but that is a minor nit pick. ...

「When in Joburg, the Parkwood in Rosepark is a sanctuary of relaxation and luxury. John Paul makes you feel welcome and pampered and the suites are large, well appointed and more than comfortable for relaxing and sleeping when on property. So much better than much larger chain hotels throughout Joburg. Location and luxury make the Parkwood our top option. 」

「The hotel is very nice, clean, comfy beds. The family rooms are on the ground floor and spacious. However, it was a little unsuitable with the pram and the baby due to there being a few stairs to navigate to get in and then also inside. However, staff was super helpful. Breakfast was great. Location is great. You can walk or catch a golf car to the mall. Place is halal.」
