The Lost Colony

We ran our AC from the time we got there Friday around 4pm until we left Sunday morning and couldn’t tell a difference at all. It was very warm in the room. Wasn’t able to enjoy the outdoor seating area out side our room because of so many mosquitoes. The pool and hot tub were great. The breakfast was “ok”. It was nice that they brought it to the room. Likes going out to visit with the horses. We were on the first floor and very noisy, heavy footed upstairs neighbors. Might want to install different flooring for the second floor so it’s not so loud. All in all a nice get away.

We love Key West, but we don’t want to fly or drive there anymore. Key West Cottages made us feel like we were in Key West. The cottage was beautiful and they’re all so colorful! I loved the crushed shell pathways. The wagons they provide for moving your things to the cottage are a great idea. We really enjoyed watching the sunset at the beach area. We were surprised that we could have used the pool in September, as it is heated. Next year we’ll bring our suits!
