"We booked for a family of 2 adults and 2 children. When booking we were not advised that children are not allowed at the pool. I researched the hotel website, and had to hunt for the disclaimer. I feel we should have been told at booking and could have made an educated decision whether to stay there or search for more kid friendly amenities. That said, the kids where thrilled with the white chocolate starfish candy at on their pillow. Beautiful hotel. I would return with adults only."

"Great location, clean, comfortable and well stocked for anything you might need. Hosts were very responsive. Nightly rate very reasonable. Cleaning and VRBO fees excessive."
Ocean House Hotel at Bass Rocks

"The room was wonderful- clean and had a deck right off of our slider & we were steps away from a beautiful pool and hot tub. The staff were friendly and helpful. The views of the water crashing on the rocks were amazing and there were chairs set up to sit and enjoy. There was a firepit and they served cookies and coffee in the afternoon & cheese and wine in the early evening. There was a nice breakfast in the morning serving spinach and feta or ham and cheese hot croissants, fruit and bagels and eggs. I would rate our experience a 10 out of 10. Will definitely come again."
Stay at Gloucester Harbor

"We loved our time at the Gloucester House! The area was perfect, access to fun times at low tide created lifetime memories. And the yard overlooking the inlet was perfect, we spent hours playing outside and having fires at sunset. It was truly the perfect getaway for 6 adults and 3 kids. We had the best time!"

"We had a wonderful stay at this home in Glouster. It was the first time we stayed in a downtown and it was great. The view was wonderful. We had cocktails on the deck every night. It was so peaceful and beautiful. The house was very nice and clean. Great open floor plan. And the owner responded quickly to any of our concerns."
Stay at Niles Beach

"This was our second time staying at this property. It worked very well for our six adults. We especially appreciate the AC during the hot days! It’s such a great location with just a short walk to Niles Beach where we spent a lot of time. We highly recommend a walk to Last Stop for delicious muffins in the mornings. The house is spotless and has a great kitchen for cooking. It does have some steep stairs, so take that into account."

"Made contact twice requesting early check in and no one responded. Had issue with door code and lock to get in initially and had to call. Was told where key was instead. Who needs or wants issues getting in upon arrival for vacation?? Next day received apology text and said would try to stop by and fix it. No one came or contacted me again. Many previous reviews mentioned door lock issues think would have been solved by now. House is ready for a bit more cleaning especially under furniture, corners and windows. I was expecting better from previous reviews. House to left(shared driveway) has a lot of junk to look at, eyesore. Stay was acceptable overall for 2 nights."
