"The property was overall very well kept. Staff was great. Room was clean and quiet. Bathroom was a little small for larger people but with the dressing area very nice. I would definitely return in the future. Very nice continental breakfast and area to sit and enjoy your meal. Indoor pool was ready to go...thumbs up for me 👍"

"We booked for a family of 2 adults and 2 children. When booking we were not advised that children are not allowed at the pool. I researched the hotel website, and had to hunt for the disclaimer. I feel we should have been told at booking and could have made an educated decision whether to stay there or search for more kid friendly amenities. That said, the kids where thrilled with the white chocolate starfish candy at on their pillow. Beautiful hotel. I would return with adults only."

"Our visit to 21 Friend was outstanding as usual. We are repeat customers for this location for numerous reasons. The first reason is the hostess. Kathy is a true professional in what she provides as a hostess to every guest. She is easy to contact and willing to assist you in any way possible, The next positive factor is the amenties 21 Friend provides. I have rented Vrbo units worldwide and I have never seen a location exceeds the features/supplies and household items offered in 21 Friend street. As an example where have you found a grand piano in a rental unit - one is here. The kitchen is fully equipped with the basic essentials and Kathy has added bonus items such as a trash compacture, two ovens, and a cord of fire wood for the fireplace. Additionally, if you need something, just ask Kathy and she will probably find it somewhere in the house. Another important factor for choosing this location is the excellent cleaning aspects of 21 Friend st. After the cleaning service completes their work, Kathy followups with love and attention to every detail. Finally, the view from 21 Friend of the Gloucester Harbor is beautiful and every attraction the city has to offer is within a 10 minute drive. This is a great location to visit and my family and I look forward to every visit. p.s. we are already booked for 2027. Thanks Kathy"

"We were a party of 8 attending a wedding in Gloucester. Erin’s place was the perfect location for us. Communication was terrific and check in was easy. The house was very clean, the beds were comfortable, in a quiet neighborhood and we had everything that we needed in the kitchen for making breakfast. Our group especially appreciated the record player and vinyl albums. The location is within walking distance to downtown, the harbor and the beach. Would highly recommend."

"It was as expected based on the description and photos. Parking was easy. Linda was helpful and friendly while respecting our privacy. The place was older and funky, but clean and it is obviously cared about. The bed is a little saggy. Lots of stairs, not a problem for us or our dog but might be for some."

"Very cute. Comfortable bed. Great location. Walking distance to a lot of places. Great communication with owner. Only drawback is the steep narrow stairs to access. Hard to get big bags up and down. Another minor drawback and may not be for everyone but it doesn’t have a microwave."
