"Very poor lighting in the room. No where to put on makeup where you could see."

"Excellent rooms, and lovely communal areas. The staff were really friendly and helpful, going well beyond just good customer service. Car park spaces are quite tight and cars were sometimes temporarily blocked in. Good breakfast. Could do with either a second coffee machine or a faster one. "

"The room was clean but the decor and condition outdated and poor. There appears to have been no updating or redecorating since I last stayed here 10 years ago. No breakfast as they no longer have dining facilities."

"The window in the bedroom did not shut fully which meant the sound of the planes landing at Heathrow were particularly noisy. We had been moved down from floor 2 to 1, which unfortunately also meant our view was just the side of a building and the heating systems on the flat roof. Good location, nice amenities, but the room itself did not provide the best night’s sleep I’ve had."

"The proximity to Windsor town centre was excellent !The accommodation was clean and the host responsive and helpful. The property was a little tired and the bathrooms would definitely benefit from a refit. We had trouble keeping the water in the shower area and my elderly aunt who traveled with us had difficulty getting into the bath to use the shower which was over it. There were no handles to aid this at all. She is not in any way disabled but a slippery bath was a concern. I also think more comfortable seating would have been nice and matching cutlery and crockery etc. excellent location though. One final thing was the tricky lock to enter the property perhaps a change of lock cylinder would make a difference."

"Our host was accommodating he let us check in early and bought a new dinner set the next day when I alerted him. I liked the fact that parking came included and it was centrally located. We did have a few problems such as the excess dust and dirt under the sofa, the uncomfortable bed, the linen that really needs changing (it’s been washed too many times) and the dishwasher wasn’t functioning. "

"Would first of all like to say what an obliging host Jeremy was. Communication was quick and helpful. Check in information was good, especially as it was very short notice. Unfortunately the property is in dire need of refurbishment. We felt there is inadequate lighting to the stairs up to the apartment. We also found it difficult to get our cases up the next flight of stairs which has a tight dog leg to the bedrooms and bathrooms. We had a few frozen items which we were unable to put in the freezer as it was FULL of ice. Great view of the castle from the lounge windows. Secondary glazing was perfectly adequate in keeping out draughts and noise. There is extensive damage to the ceiling in the lounge, paper hanging down & staining. Unable to watch any of the main UK TV channels as there doesn’t appear to be an ariel attached. Bedding was clean and bed was comfortable. Wardrobe was adequate. Compact bathroom. Nice clean suite, shame the decor and leak damage let it down. "
