「Comfy room, generous towels. Arrived late Friday evening, no bother getting a table in the pub downstairs for food- they don't take table reservations, so I wasn't at a disadvantage. Good wide choice on the menu and attentive service. There was a nightwatchman for after hours- what a treasure! He showed me how to access once the pub was closed, helped me empty the bags from the car and carried them to our room all with a friendly, nothing was too much trouble approach. 「Proper traditional English hotel! Centre of Hartlepool. Reception staff very friendly as were cleaning staff I met. Quiet despite location and easy walking distance to transport networks.」

「場所が少し不便な所にあり、しかも急な坂道を登らないといけないのが少し不便だった。延泊し2泊したが1泊目の部屋が暖房が効いておらず寒かった。2泊目の部屋は暖かった。建物の外観、部屋の雰囲気はとても良かった。またお風呂は広く快適だった。朝食は数種類から選べ、2種類食べたがどちらも美味しかった。パンとサーモンが美味しい。 夜はホテルに併設しているインド料理を食べたが、宿泊者は割引があり、味も美味しかった。 ダラムに着いて初めての宿泊先、食事だったが、こちらのホテルのおかげで、ダラムの印象が良いものとなった。」

「Check in was quick and easy. Staff were helpful and polite, even moved me from a room in the inn to an annexe room so I could be away from noise from bar. Also had a very good breakfast which is extra but excellent value for money. Definitely recommend it hotel and breakfast.」

「Nice spacious and very clean room. Well facilitated with a tea tray and bottles of water. Room was immensely hot but thankfully able to open all the windows. Liked fresh cooked breakfast (as opposed to usual buffets) however I would love to see a better drinkable coffee being served and a little gripe - after requesting hard poached egg with no ‘snot’ my egg was totally snotty when I cut it and ran into my breakfast so didn’t eat much.
