「Lovely little hotel at the side of the Aviator pub, check in at the pub was easy and staff are very friendly. The rooms are clean and beds are comfortable and a lovely big screen TV. The food at the pub is good value especially the breakfast.」
「Well situated in town, Very welcoming indeed - Carol and her staff couldn't do enough (nothing was a problem). Room spotlessly clean and airy and cleaned every day. We were only B&B and selection for breakfasts was really good (something to suit everyone). Couldn't fault anything really and would definitely go back.」

Why is the butter with the fresh fruit section and not by the toaster and bread and jams !? Also tea making area very congested and when busy you have to wait a very long time to access the hot water/ coffee machine. 」

The town centre is in walking distance and has some really nice and reasonably priced cafes. There is a short walk to a pebble beach and beautiful gardens. 」

「This was my second visit. I love staying here. The staff are most welcoming, as are the locals. The hospitality, food and beers are all excellent. The hotel building, bar, restaurant and grounds are most pleasant. The cuisine was served quickly and is very tasty. It is in a lovely place, which is quiet and also not too far from the town. It is also easily accessible. Very easy going and no complications. If I go to Ipswich again I will stay at The Sorrell Horse again!」

Being a golf club it has lots of extras, gym, spa, pool etc.
The gym was well equipped with the latest tech, the pool area was lovely with a jacuzzi ,steam and sauna room.
Clean changing rooms with ample lockers.
The room was spacious with one of the largest beds ive seen, decent amenities, tea,coffee n biscuits.
Great bathroom and shower.
The restaurant was nice, the food was decent with plenty...
