"This is a wonderful cabin with lots of space! I enjoyed the deck and porch area. One area is screened in with a table and plenty of room to sit on the couch and chairs, while the adjacent area that isn't screened in has rocking chairs and a great view of the mountains and firepit. I also loved the jetted tub in the bathroom off of the loft area upstairs and the amazing basement. The Ms. PacMan arcade machine (includes Galaga and many other games) made me happy because it reminded me of my childhood! The switches in the cabin are labeled, so you don't have to flip everything on and off to figure out which switch controls which lights, fans, etc. I found that to be extremely helpful. The cabin was clean and the kitchen was stocked with nice appliances and other necessities. The upstairs and downstairs bedrooms and seating areas had nice televisions. I was easily able to navigate the drive to the cabin and into Blue Ridge in my sedan. I felt very safe staying at Almost Heaven, and it was very quiet and peaceful. Rachel is a wonderful host, is very kind, and responds quickly to any questions or concerns. I would love to come back one day. Thank you for a great stay."

A terrible storm came through one night and we lost power for about 10 hours but some of my grandchildren said it was their favorite memory. There areSo many stars in the sky and the lastTime I saw them was in the bottom of the Grand Canyon. The owners were quick to get back with the few problems we had"

"The cabin and property were represented accurately. Our visitwas very comfortable and relaxing .... I have 2 small concerns... the lighting in the cabin was very dark. It washard to read in the evening and the bathroom could use brighter lights as well.It was not made clear that the roads leading up to the cabin were quite winding withvery little shoulder..somewhat of a challenge to guests coming from flatter parts if the country.Overall a great visit."

"Great communication and very clean property. The only downside was the view. The pictures in the listing show a wide open view from what seems the be the main deck. My time of visit everything is over grown so the view was not as good as the listing photos. Would still stay again."

"The property is accurate to the listing. The space indoor and outdoor was wonderful. Unfortunately, the downstairs bedrooms were warmer than desired and the upstairs were quite cool. We did buy plastic cups and plates to use outside and to not run the dishwasher multiple times a day. Kitchen appliances worked well. We used the grill and pool daily. One item to note, please check pets for tics. We found 3 due to the area and wooded property."
