Fabulous property: well designed, family rooms were superb. Architectural feel with exceptional kids' attractions that are both fun and tasteful. Food was good, but could be better. Beachfront down a few steps and not very wide, but the pools were ideal so we did not spend much time there. Staff lovely. Would gladly return soon!

This property is secluded. Half hour drive to Khao Lak centre. If you are after a total relax, this is the place for you! Just very little to do. Only a couple of simple local restaurants within walking distance if you want more variety than the buffet. Beds and pillows super comfy.

Great stay in nice resort

Very nice stay. Great rooms with comfortable beds. Family room ideal for 4 people. Happy that we didn’t take the room with pool access since you could not walk directly from veranda anywhere without getting in the water. Everybody was really nice. We didn’t try the restaurants since there were much cheaper options just 200m up the beach or road. Location is quite remote. It takes approx 25min to get to Khao Lak.

We had a nice stay in Pullman. Family room in the main building was lovely, good housekeeping. The main issue was around sunbeds. The beach is lovely but narrow, and the hotel is designed such that there are limited sunbeds by the beach. The sunbeds by the beach on the grass area are prone to flies and sewage smells. The sunbed by the pool that's adjacent to the beach gets really overcrowded. Throughout the hotel all the other sunbeds are situated along the main walkways along the pool, so there is no peace and quite there - constant people traffic. Another big frustration is the space at breakfast. Again, the design is such that there is not enough space for table or food stations, queues for food (egg station was operating with 1 pan!!) and arriving for breakfast anytime after 8am meant it's hectic and unpleasant. Constant waiting for coffee (you have to queue yourself in the middle of the food hall), constant chasing for basics like cups and cutlery. Kids club is really good in terms of activities. But they also have video games there, which means most kids are watching /playing rubbish games. Staff is lovely, but they don't speak any English, which makes it tricky to communicate. Remember to sign your kids in. My husband forgot, and they let my 4 y/o son walk out by himself. I found him by accident as I was passing by the club.. Also the fact that kids club is closed 12-13 doesn't make any sense.. Film screenings are really good for the kids in the evenings.

Staff members were thoroughly helpful and friendly. Accommodated where able. There were a number of occasions that felt as if there was shortage of staff at the main restaurant but that could've been during peak breakfast hours. Our kids loved the slide and the kids area. The pool was fun, clean and friendly. Parking was limited-an overflow open space adjacent to the property sort of made up for this. Pullman is a little further away from the township and that was what drew us to it. There were ample of low-key activities around the area. It felt good to be able to contribute a little to the local economy in a small town that still showed signs of recovery from the tsunami two decades ago.

Very nice hotel but very off. No shops or restaurants nearby and 30min to Khao Lak centre. This was our 3rd hotel in the Khao Lak area and we stayed 7 nights, 5 would have been more than enough as we wanted to do more than just stay at the hotel. Good breakfast and plenty of things for the kids, not all needed but nice ro have in bad weather. We had dinner at an amazing nearby restaurant called Mu.Te.Lay and that was the highlight of the food around rhe hotel.

Truly beautiful hotel - perfect for families

We had a wonderful stay here! The pictures don’t do the hotel justice. It’s outside of Khao Lak centre which was perfect for us - easy to reach lots of amazing sights and local restaurants by taxi. The family rooms are huge and beautifully appointed with separate spaces for kids’ bunk beds and big balconies. The service was wonderful - especially in the main restaurant, at Rosalyn Spa and the lovely kids club. The pools are the highlight though. They wind their way through the hotel, inc. kids pools, slides and splash pads.

It was a comfortable stay. Service at reception was very helpful. Rooms were clean and housekeeper was very helpful. Service in the restaurants (both, inside and beachside) was not very good. Waiting time to be helped was very long, food did not arrive together and no clean glasses.

Recommend!

Stayed only 2 nights but wish it had been longer. 2 adults and 2 kids, had a family suite, very nice and spacious room, felt luxurious. Room was very close to the pool so for us we were actually clad not spending extra on a pool access room. All staff very friendly and service minded. Hotel was not fully occupied so was possible to find sun beds even after 7.30am. Though many reserve sun beds hours before they use them (which is super annoying!!), but some pool staff actually removed towels off some beds. Very kids friendly. Amazing playroom and nice kids pool with water slide. Kids loved it. Nice and clean beach! (Visited a beach just south of this one and was much more rocks there, here only nice sand). Great breakfast (but busy). Had dinner only one evening at the beach bar, not that impressed as it was quite expensive. Limited restaurants and stores around the hotel area so not much other options, but good quality still (and much cheaper than the hotel itself). All in all a great stay and would come back again!

Good Family Resort but not a 5 Stars Hotel

Overall great experience we had here with my husband and my 10 months old baby boy for 5 days during Xmas time. Pro: We really enjoyed the secluded area of Khao Lak, it was peaceful and quiet. Staff is super friendly and always smiling. The staff man who is taking care of the luggage service is a gem! This resort is definitely kids and family oriented. Cons: Service must be improved at all cost. Staff is lacking if English so it makes the communication and the understanding of the request quite often impossible. Breakfast buffet is quantity over quality and overall hygiene must be improved (dirty dishes counter in front of clients having breakfast that attracts flies is not ok at all…) Hotel overall maintenance is quite poor. Playroom floor must be changed, moldy smell when you walk inside the room. Hotel was open 5 years ago but looks way older (holes on towels, stains on sofas at the lobby and restaurants). Food is definitely not at the standard of a 5 stars. We ordered multiple times Thai food and were super disappointed by the taste and by the poor ingredients… Service is super slow… Halal Chicken food signage makes the choice super confusing and spoons to serve dishes are getting mixed between pork, beef and Halal Chicken… It looks like staff is overwhelmed too especially during this holiday season. For the price applied for this period (€300/night) not acceptable at all. Even thought it doesn’t give the vibe of a 5 stars hotel we still would like to recommend this hot

Very good in general, beautiful place , quiet and relaxing, few swimming pools and very kids friendly, one pool with fun slide, reach breakfast. Family suit with one toilet and no window at the shower.

the gym was super dirty and there were no towels which is not acceptable in a 5 star hotel. the service forgot things several times other than that we were happy with our stay. the family room is big which is great!
