「I saw lots of negative reviews for this hotel so was very nervous about booking but we’d been let down at the last minute with the accommodation we’d booked for our weekend away so booked the Ocean hotel and hoped for the best! I have to say I was so pleasantly surprised, yes the outside is a bit tired but the reception and bar area are lovely, the staff are friendly and helpful and the room was spotlessly clean and comfortable, it had everything we needed, even a fan and heater in the wardrobe...

「A lovely relaxing evening in the spa. Just what we needed to unwind from a stressful week at work. The hotel room was lovely and clean, with a comfortable bed. We were in a quiet part of the hotel and was not disturbed by noise. The staff were welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was delicious. We will definitely be back. 」

「ボーンマスパビリオンのコンサートを見るのに、1泊しましたが、会場からとても近く、また海岸にも近いのでちょっとした小旅行気分になりました。 部屋は特に普通ですが、一人でダブルベッドをつかえたのでゆっくりできました。 夜は戸締まりされるので、一声かけて行くといいと思いました。 バス停からもすぐ近くなので、駅にも便がよいので、オンシーズンに海を楽しむのにまた利用してもいいなと思いました。」

「Lovely views and a comfortable stay. Room was very big and the shower was excellent. The fridge wasn’t working but was replaced straight away. Breakfast was great with a good choice of hot and cold food in the restaurant that had beautiful views of the harbour. Great location for exploring The Island. Staff very helpful.Swimming pool was great too although a bit on the warm side. However a good size. Bar area was really good too. 」
