May 2025.The good : Stephane, the host, was very responsive. Whenever we had issues he would offer solutions (that sometimes worked and sometimes didn't). The location is great in that it is quite central and walkable to restaurants, shops, etc. and located in a charming quarter.The you-should-know : The listing cites a laundry facility 3 min walk away, and in the following sentence says "Dryer in apartment". What was meant was "hair dryer", not clothes dryer. Same with the VRBO clothes dryer appliance icon. That is a mistake. One of the 2 bikes had a flat front tire. I remember reading something similar in a 2024 review. I used the bicycle pump on all tires (they were low on air) when I discovered the hissing leak of one of the bikes. To Stephane's credit. He offered and pointed out a local bike renting facility, but we ended up not using it for convenience reasons.The apartment was pretty clean except the shower which showed some mold in the often seen corners, grout lines, edges, etc. Otherwise the rest of the apartment was clean with rustic charm and decorations and lots of books in different languaged to read.The unit is in a cul-de-sac, so quiet from pedestrian traffic. But there is a large metal gate to the courtyard next to the unit , which is the entrance to 10-12 unit apartment building. Unfortunately, not everyone was gentle about slowly/softly closing it on the way out in the early morning.All in all we had a great time !! Stephane was a kind host.
