「As long as you go with realistic expectations you will be ok at the Lucarelli. We received a great welcome and we had a good nights sleep. The room was basic definitely no-frills but the TV gave good service, and all we needed was a stopover on a long journey. We were too tired to dine in the restaurant but I know from previous visits that the food and service is really good. It was certainly busy last night which is a good sign.」

「We really enjoyed our stay at the Golden Lion . We had our own car parking space . The breakfast was outstanding . Very hot plenty of it and delicious. The only downside was they didn’t do meals in the evening. But they are ready to recommend places that do great meals ie The Old Castle. We would definitely stay there again.」

「Rooms were comfortable and the area was quiet. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Only drawback was the limited parking space at the hotel, especially on a busy night. Side road was also often full.」

Lovely location too, with a homely feel. Would thoroughly recommend and will definitely be staying there again if we are in the area!」

「The White House was easy to find, with parking outside. Our hosts were lovely, genial and very welcoming. Our ensuite room was warm, comfortable and homely. The complimentary welcome tray was the best I've ever seen with lovely homemade cake (huge slices!) 2 small bottles of wine and 2 bottles of water. The beds were in the firm category which suited my husband more than me. Our room was at the back of the house and was very peaceful at night time and the village seemed quiet the next...

「I booked 2 nights, 8Mar to 10Mar. I arrived by 6PM, the hotel was close. I had no way but booking another hotel nereby. Then, they did not refund the fee. That place does not work as a hotel. As a pub, however, it is perfect I have to say. 」

Welcome texts before I arrived was a lovely touch, plenty of local information for those staying on holiday and a very personal service all round. Room wasn’t the most modern but very comfortable and quiet - I had a great sleep! It made a lovely change to stay in a family run B&B whilst away with work rather than the somewhat soulless hotel chain 😊」

「Great food and if you're staying they reserve a table for you in case you want to eat dinner there. Huge home cooked portions. There's nothing in the immediate vicinity so if you want quiet you'll find it, but Ledbury is a close drive away if you want small town local shops. I would stay again. 」
