"The place is absolutely FANTASTIC! It is beautiful, the bed is super comfortable, the kitchen has everything you could possibly need, loved the shower products too. My family celebrated Christmas here and the added touch of decorations made it feel so homey. The welcome basket is such a nice touch and we enjoyed the wine with Christmas dinner. The host is very responsive. For no fault to her, just due to winter weather, the power went out for a few hours. Right away she communicated with us about when it would be restored. Sometimes on vacation things happen and this is a host who is there for you. You gave our family precious memories!! Thank you so much! Plan to return the next time we come to CT!"

"We arrived late, and Dan turned on the lights and left the front door open for us. Then on our last evening there began a decadal snowfall; we called Dan and said we had to leave by 7 a.m. and could he please have the very long and uphill driveway plowed before then? Sure enough, he arrived with a crew at 6:30 and we left on time. Because the house was in perfect order, we had no need to contact him during our stay."

"We absolutely loved our stay here — from ease of check-in, to the coziness of the house, to the unique touches in the kitchen and bathroom — the host made us feel at home. "This place was absolutely beautiful. It was spacious and clean and comfortable. I went with two friends who stayed in the beds in the loft upstairs while I took the master bedroom. Everything was really great about this place except for the shower. Although the clawfoot tub is aesthetically pleasing, it is really hard to take a shower in there and the water pressure is terrible. We were only there for two nights, but two of us did not wash our because of this issue. It’s also hard to just be in that small tub as it’s very tight in terms of space. This was really the only reason why I gave it four stars instead of five stars because the rest of it was so great. But it’s really hard to go away and not be able to wash your hair. I think the bathtub and showerhead need to be replaced. In addition, the water that comes out of the faucet is very salty, but I guess it just has to do with the area of Guilford? Luckily there is a water cooler provided for drinking water so that is great. Rebecca was very communicative and kind. We also really enjoyed the pool outside. We would love to return, but we really hope that the bathtub and showerhead are replaced!"
