「Lovely old pub with very comfortable rooms and nice food at a good rate」

「Good location and large clean room. Only one point I was disappointed was the door of the bathroom wasn’t closed. But it was nice to stay as a business trip and so I will return to this hotel again.」

「We would stay here again. Very comfortable staff was so nice and friendly resturant is wonderful fish and chips were amazing.」

「Nice location however very soft mattress and unpleasant smell in the bathroom. Rooms in the clock tower are separate to rest of hotel. Staff offered no explanation about breakfast on arrival and we were not asked how our stay was on checkout. Below expectations, very average」

「Well worth a visit for good food and nice staff」

「Great food, breakfast is fabulous lots of choice and actually the hot breakfast was hot which was great compared to other hotels, lovely helpful staff, huge suite, just needs brightening with some colour and touches here and there. Air con needs checking as wasn’t that cold and I am a hot person so really wanted it to be better. Shame there is no jacuzzi in the pool area and the pool is shallow both ends but I did have a lovely massage with Brenda. Overall lovely stay definitely stay again.」
