"It is a charming, quiet location in the glorious countryside. The accommodation is clean, spacious and warm. The kitchen is well equipped although it would benefit from a microwave “hat” and dishes. I had a very enjoyable stay. There are no instructions or information about use (or location) of the swimming pool. I had to email the agent for this. None of the fans appeared to be working (not really a problem as windows can be opened). The rubber seal of the bathroom sink has perished (you would only know this if you were wet shaving). I stayed for twelve days and really should have had a change of bed linen and towels."

"Don’t be fooled by the exterior, looks like the place could do with a little maintenance/upgrades. The room was excellent, clean, comfortable with a sparkling new bathroom. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Best part of the stay was the staff, warm, friendly and welcoming as though you are family. Don’t expect to rush your breakfast, one person does it all! Cleans , serves and cooks. She’s worth her weight in gold."

"We had a fantastic time with our young toddler. Spacious and well equipped property, nicely furnished and very comfortable. Excellent and well maintained facilities with the highlights being a tennis court and an indoor swimming pool! Beautiful and peaceful location, surrounded by fields and countryside. Very friendly and helpful staff, really added to the experience (thanks Fraser!) We will be back! "

"Great house for us as a group of families with teenagers. Lots of space and amazing location. Contrary to other reviews, the house was warm and there is also a big wood burner in the main living room. We all loved our stay, thank you. "

"The general stay was good however, I contacted the host via the app a few times and never got a response. Also the sofas in the back room were terrible and very uncomfortable, they all need to be refilled or changed. My sister who joined us is pregnant and found it very uncomfortable to rest there. The room with the kitchen had too many tables and chairs and instead having sofas would have been nice there with the one set of table and chairs. In the description it said that one room would have 4 single beds which suited the family however the settings of the room layouts was different and so sleeping arrangements became a bit of an issue for us. The gardener and manager were very helpful but that was only after arriving that I could communicate with them. "
